    Maybe OHMSS. Will definitely try to line up one of the Doctor Who Christmas specials for the day since I'm rewatching the new series, even though we'll get a new episode around then.

    A Christmas Carol is my favorite of all the DW Christmas specials with Matt Smith, Katherine Jenkins :x and Michael Gambon. The DW revival really was at its peak around this time of A Christmas Carol.

    I agree, that episode was very magical with the flying chariot and Scrooge-like character. That's the one I usually think of when trying to remember Who Xmas specials. That and the Santa robots or 'Roboforms'. Half way through Last Christmas at the moment.

    Clara: "Are you...Santa Claus?"
    (Nick Frost as Santa Claus): "Me? No! Oh no. That's just, that's ridiculous. No no no!"

    Aaah, Christmas. A celebration of hypocrisy, consumerism and superstition. Ergo, my choice of films:
    • Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (1978) - because people are not who they seem;
    • Dawn Of The Dead (1978) - because we're all shopping mall zombies;
    • The VVitch (2015) - because who doesn't enjoy the adverse side of religious zeal?

    ;-)

    😂😂
    Seriously though the 1978 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' is on that short list of superior remakes! That final shot always chills me to the bone!

    It is an absolutely amazing film. And yes, the perfect Christmas movie.
