    At the Cinémathèque yesterday evening, while waiting for the theater to open, I bought this :

    I intend to collect Karel Zeman's movies this year.

    And I received the DVD of Torture Garden. Now, my Amicus anthologies collection is complete. Now to watch them. It might take a bit longer.

    I watched parts of this film some fifteen years ago on TV, late at night. I miss TV channels airing obscure films like these.

    Almost bought this a few times though glad I held off as just picked it up dirt cheap, this is one of my earliest movie memory's.

    The 4K version is fantastic, I did not realise there was a comic book adaption I'll see if I can find it.

    Also, look out for Lance Henriksen. I didn t realize until my last rewatch that he is in the movie.

    Yeah I noticed Lance again last night I had seen him in the film previously though I always forget when I rewatch the film.

    For anyone interested, Criterion is having their 50% one day flash sale currently, so get them while you can. I bought several elsewhere the other day, so for this sale I only picked up The Ballad of Gregorio Cortez, Young Mr. Lincoln and A Touch Of Zen.

BD not include bonusmaterial. My 19th movie (15th none Bond movie) with Pierce Brosnan in my collection. Directed by Roger Donaldson (The Recruit, The Bank Job, The November Man)

    ET is still a classic with as only complaint the retouching and altering the guns for walki-talkies .

    One of Stephens greatest movies imho.

    The Macra Terror. Received it today, and yes, the DVD sleeve is reversible, so you can put it in your collection without the spine jarring.

    I recognise E.T.for what it is and has some brilliant direction though I think it's too sickly sweet at times. I liked the movie Fire in the Sky 1993, I recommend it if you have not seen it. In fact its a film I should revisit, I wonder if its on Bluray
