I too saw some small issues with CGI but, as with all films, it comes back to the original things that make films great. "Is the audience emotionally involved with the characters and the story"
I think we can safely say it's a yes.
Firstly, why should I be interested in a comic book when I like films? If the film cannot be fully appreciated on its own, it doesn´t do its job.
Secondly, why do you prophetize about the future, when the last prophets walked the earth centuries ago?
No way. I just watched Ready Player One again, and while the CG characters in that film look much more CG-ed than any Marvel character, I was ten times more involved with the characters and the story than I was with IW.
I will definitely watch IW again this week.
I have a feeling Brie's going to kill it as Captain Marvel.
Ha ha it's the right decade lol

Interesting interview with Kevin Feige, potential Spoilers.
I thought this characters voice was a bit off...
I went into Infinity War knowing four spoilers, two big and two minor. The minor spoilers were "a returning character was recast" and "there's a symbol at the end". I had speculated about the Red Skull, but never felt concrete, and the symbol I just put aside until I saw the movie.
The deaths spoiled for me lost none of their impact despite being spoiled. Loki and Gamora's deaths still had weight to me, still hit home, though I assume Gamora still in some way lives inside the Soul Stone. Loki's death I'd already sort of figured out beforehand, based on how little he was shown in the trailers. Still, I've always preferred Loki and Thor as brothers rather than enemies, and the fact that Loki died trying to save his brother's life was heartwarming.
Thanos was a monster. He was the best villain the MCU has had, and dammit if I wasn't actually afraid he may win this Infinity War - and then he did. Avengers 4 has one helluva job ahead of it next year, and that's exciting me. And complain all you want about the CGI used to make him, I thought it was exceptional. I saw genuine emotion come from his face in such a way I've not seen since Gollum in The Two Towers.
I expected to go into this movie and love it, as I have all other MCU movies. What I didn't expect was that it would dethrone The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2 as my favorite comic book movie. Those two have shared that spot for 10 years now and now they don't. It's a strange feeling that I'm not sure how to process.
I only hope that Avengers 4 lives up to the promise that Infinity War has left us.
Same can be said for the James Bond films and yet here we are.
I don't care what you like. What you choose tovdo is your own business. I only mentioned Infinity Gauntlet as a point of reference to convey and contrast how close Thanos is to how he's characterised in the source material.
The film has done it's job and exceptionally well but it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
Don't know what you're on about but i'm glad I'm able to talk about a series of films and franchisesthat has a clear and defined future.
Looks like so much fun.
Which one pena or douglas?
It was not a criticism just an observation, that moment was great it's one of my favourite scenes. I did well this time round regarding a new release I managed to avoid spoilers, though there were some things you could see coming.
Now that is what I'm talking about! :-bd
On another note, the worldwide total for Infinity War now stands at $725.5 million after just six days of release.
I commend the Russo's on what they were able to achieve in 2.5 hours of screen time. They really got through quite a lot and it's a testament to their directing skills that they were able to keep it engaging, epic & consequential.
My ranking remains the same, not because IW isn't good, but because the films higher on the list are better imho:
1. Winter Soldier
2. Iron Man
3. Avengers
4. Thor Ragnarok
5. Civil War
6. Iron Man 3
7. Infinity War
They are both from ultra-geeky source material, with Marvel-style humour and box-office takings to shout about … so how come aficionados have given Last Jedi such short shrift?
Simple IW did not stick a finger up to what proceeded it. In addition to that IW did not have terrible dialog and terrible acting.
