A powerful message. It explains why his first 2 movies with Spider-Man are so great (second is better than the first, in my opinion)!
Neither films get into my top five greatest superhero films.
I agree, I think she is one of the worst love interests in the history of love interests. She’s mean, selfish, a whore who flip flops with everyone, the list is endless! She’s the Grandpa Joe of love interests! Dafoe made a great villain, but Molina made a great one that was also sympathetic. Which would influence the great PS4 game it would seem. And the second Spider-Man I liked because it could be goofy, without going too overboard unlike the MCU at large.
I am not disputing the characters importance, the characterisation itself is well... obnoxious.
Dunst's Mary Jane is incredibly self centered and unlikeable.
A 'whore'?
She was always seeing other guys when she was mad at Peter. Attention whore.
Makes a tiny bit of sense. She is an actress.
Still, I'd say Dunst's Mary Jane is probably the worst love interest after the replacement Lois Lane in Superman Returns.
Though we do have plenty of strong ones, thankfully - Margot Kidder's Lois, Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter, Paltrow's Pepper Potts etc.
Penelope Ann Miller in The Shadow is another I like.

That's great the casting of Molina has made me more interested in the film for sure.
Up to now the two Tom Holland films for me have been forgettable (Michael Keaton the highlight of either movie), I tend to rewatch the other Spiderman films and don't bother with Holland's.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier episodes 4 and 5 are a mixed bag and feels a little unfocused now, the show has been ok its unlikely I will ever watch it again when its finished. It is littered with Easter eggs certainly in ep 5, and some big Marvel characters show up though I just don't care.
The Disney+ shows on recent evidence offer little and I don't think missing them will impact on the movies.
The recent ep of Falcon/Winter is a pretty good example of just allowing the characters to have a breather after an intense opening. In a movie, this would have probably lasted five minutes, ten at max. I’m glad this series exists because now I feel ready to see Sam as the new Cap in a way I didn’t at the very end of ENDGAME. It also makes him and Bucky feel like fully rounded characters for the first time, when they were really just side characters in the movies loaded with bigger names than them.
Bummed that next week will be the last.
That’s fun, I hadn’t been sure if all that ‘old actors returning’ stuff was made up or not.
I don't know what to say about Shang-Chi but I want to be optimistic. Few years ago I had the same problem with Ant-man movie and now I very, very like it.

I thought the CA trilogy was just fine as it was.
