Yes okay, we get it. I agree Lynch was good in Marvel. Probably better than she got to be in NTTD to be honest: I do feel she was under served by that script. You feel like she’s going to be really interesting when she turns up in Jamaica, then she gets nothing to do.

Those two actors were still better in their first films then Scarlett Johansson was in a decade’s worth. Some of the writing is too blame, but she could have used more facial expressions. She’s also not much of a better person than the other two we’re talking about.

Johanssen’s not great (I thought all three of her co-stars in Black Widow were more interesting than her) but she’s not actually bad:she works as a movie lead and has a bit of presence. I’d rate her above Larsen.
  • I liked Shang Chi. It wasn't a magnificent movie by any means but I thought it was a far more entertaining and enjoyable movie than the last 2 so-called Bond films.

Personally I really didn't like NWH. I think the praise is just coming from nostalgia, because besides the return of villains from old movies, there wasn't really anything to it. And to those who thought it should've been nominated for an Oscar, why? Besides being exciting for you because again nostalgia, what warrants it to be Best Picture?

    It's got a black woman as second-billed co-star.

I liked Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings too. The Mandarin was a really good villian.
I'm waiting for more of Shang-Chi in MCU.

And speaking of Spider-Man: No Way Home, I really enjoyed Tobey's performance as Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy.

    "The Daily Wire"

    More conservatwat observations no doubt.
  • Been watching the MCU movies from the start in chronological order since there are so many I have yet to see. I also included the Raimi and Webb Spider-Man films in my marathon too, since the multiverse makes them canon in the newest films. Here is my current rankings of the ones I’ve watched so far. The original Spider-Man movies remain two of my favorite superhero movies period. I just watched Iron Man 3 for the first time since opening night. I really enjoy the movie - I’m not the biggest comic purist so the Mandarin twist works for me but I can see how it’d piss fans off considering I feel similarly to Blofeld in Spectre.

    - Spider-Man / Spider-Man 2
    1. The Avengers
    2. Iron Man
    3. Iron Man 3
    4. Iron Man 2
    5. Captain America: The First Avenger
    6. Thor
    - Spider-Man 3
    7. Captain Marvel
    8. The Incredible Hulk

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

This looks amazing and that sounded
    like Patrick Stewart.

Thanks. Another one where I’m no closer to knowing what it’s about from the trailer, but at least it’s Raimi so hopefully that’s a good sign.
Patrick Stewart’s in it then? I presume he’s not playing Prof X

Not sure anything could happen with this film.

Edited: Wow what a trailer watched it several times. That's incredible.

Ok some of you are gonna hate me for this, but oh well. I'm not feeling it. I can't help but feel this multiverse route is just nostalgia for nostalgias sake, and feel the trailer is just their way of telling us the CGI is basically finished.

What’s nostalgic about the new one?

It worked for Spidey, celebrating a 20 year cinematic legacy. I’m not seeing that in any of the other multi-verse stuff so far?

I mean I'm not gonna spoil anything, but if you dig for it, you'll know what I'm talking about.

As for Spidey, I didn't really see as a celebration, I saw it as them bringing back old actors/characters because they knew it would get people in seats.

This film is going to be awesome, so much going on.

I am a DC fan though Marvel went nuclear with that trailer, can't wait to see this film.

Doctor Strange 2 looks interesting but I’m worried it will be another “ Bait and switch “ in which Strange will just be a guest star in his own sequel with Scarlett Witch and America Chavez taking the limelight from him ( See also Loki, and The Witcher ).

Let’s not forget that a Dr Strange cameo was edited out of Wandavision because Feig thought it was inappropriate that a white male was giving advice to Wanda.

There's at least four Doctor Strange variants in this, so he's very much not a guest star.

But what if the variants are WOMEN?
