    Nice! Most of the track is the same as the Lockdown Sessions version, but the last minute or so pleasantly combines the DAF motif with the Bond riff on top of the brass.

    Underground Lair

    Just bought another cassette player, this time a 1980's Sony model. The above track sounds fantastic, I love that warm analogue sound.

    I often listen to Shaken and Stirred CD, such a great track. I will have to look for the lockdown sessions i may not have listened to all of them.

    Just found a Shirley Bassey music cassette with a slightly different studio recorded version of Goldfinger on it which is pretty good, unfortunately I can't find the audio online.

    Rerecorded version I am not musical expert though the brass and pace was different in parts of the song, i have heard the single version it is definitely not that, the track is taken from this album/cassette...

    Listening to the track again now Bassey really hits the last note high, I really do like it its a good alternate version.

    I will record the cassette tape to Audacity when I have time so I have a digital version.

    Listening to the first CD I bought of Diamonds are Forever which is not the expanded or digitally remastered, still sounds great.

    The ending is indecisive and convoluted, the writers could not commit on a definitive way for Bond to die. I respect you like it, I think it is very weak and Bond should never die.
