Action: DN (would have given it to DAD, but, you know, CGI tsunami and what-have-you)
Humour: DN (“Sergeant, make sure he doesn’t get away” beats all comers, especially DAD’s not very good boner gags)
Cinematography: DN (Although I’m rather fond of the technique of the desaturated scenes in N. Korea, and the subsequent over saturated scenes as the film goes on)

Main Villain: DN
Main Bond Girl: DN (don't have a problem with Jinx per se, but her hairstyle here is unflattering)
Henchman: DN (Zao's decent, but Dent has a sinister vibe about him without having physicality/traits)
Overall Plot: DN (perhaps a simple espionage thriller like this is what we need for B25)
Dialogue: DN (e.g. "Both hands on the wheel, Mr. Jones. I'm a very nervous passenger.")
Score: DAD (nice score- Cuba and ice car chase are stand outs; points for including The Clash)
Settings: DN (love Jamaica- it was used well here, and the sets were top notch too)
Action: DAD
Humour: DAD (yes, it's corny, but also highly amusing)

Title Credits: DN - really surprised by how many gave this one to DAD - it's my least favorite along with SP - I don't care to see scorpions and other slithering creatures in my credits - I like the more exotic and romantic old-school approach

Main Bond Girl: DN
Henchman: DAD - I do like both Miranda and Zao quite a bit

Title Credits: DAD (I like the story they tell and remember being in cinema thinking it was a unique title sequence)
Main Villain: DN (Julius beats Gustav by some distance.)
Main Bond Girl: DN (Honey is far more likeable and memorable. Jinx has some of the worst dialogue in the film...and that's saying something.)
Henchman: DAD (old diamond face is quite memorable. On another day I prefer Dent, but I'm feeling generous and will give this to Zao.)
Overall Plot: DN (Fleming thanks)
Dialogue: DN (One of the worst aspects of DAD is the dialogue and how it is delivered.)
Score: DN (I may have to relisten to DAD to give this a truly fair ranking, but I'm not a fan of the techno elements in the score. I've always had a soft spot for Monty Norman's score. From 'Twisting with James' to 'Jump Up' it always makes me smile, and takes me to that place. I even like the old style music of the finale and when Bond hammers the tarantula.)
Settings: DN (Ah...Fleming's Jamaica is near unbeatable.)
Action: DAD (Sword fight and car chase on ice are fun.)
Humour: DN (I like the deadly humour of DN.)
Cinematography: DN (love how 1962 Jamaica is captured.)
Benign Bizarre: DN (Both have bizarre elements but I prefer the metal hands, dragons, blind mice assassins, the atmosphere when Dent collects the spider.)
Suspense: DN (Not a lot of suspense in DAD)
Minor Characters: DN (Quarrel, Felix, Sylvia Trench and Miss Taro.)
Glamour: DN (Easily)
Bond Performance: DN (Top notch Connery versus one of Brosnan's dodgier performance.)
Dr. No - 14
Die Another Day - 3
Let's be fair - DAD could have got swept on this (bar the action.) but I was feeling charitable. DN is top level Bond. DAD about as low as it gets.
Title Credits: DAD
Main Villain: DN
Main Bond Girl: DN
Henchman: DN (I actually liked Zao, but it's not surprising he's a tower of strength with a nasty streak to him, and that's why I give this one to Dent: BECAUSE he's so atypical as a Bond henchman. He's weak and cowardly. His wiry nervousness made him a danger since he may just try and sneak up on you while you're sleeping and put six bullets into you).
Overall Plot: DN
Dialogue: DN
Score: DAD
Settings: DN
Action: DN (this mainly because, apart from the PTS, I despised the action in DAD, including Blades (with the grunting and snarling like two public school boys having a tif (but did like Arnold's escalating score))... I'd rather stripped back DN's action on any night of the week (at least the action in DN created and built suspense; it wasn't flashy, but it had a purpose of moving the story forward)
Humour: DN
Cinematography: DN
Benign Bizarre: DN (because DAD wasn't so much as bizarre as it was stupid)
Suspense: DN
Minor Characters: DN
Glamour: DN
Bond Performance: DN (not even close)

Overall, CR earns a dominant 13-4 victory. DN can take comfort in knowing that many of the categories were close, but it just can't pull off the win.
Before turning the game over to you, I'd like to acknowledge that I've been slow in going from round to round, which may damage interest in the game. I do greatly enjoy reading all your scores, though, and the discussion the game generates. Let's finish strong!
