I was surprised when I searched this and didn't find anything.

Rank the films in order of how good you think the score is. I'll post my own list after a few posts come in from other people.

You have John Barry in top spot, it'd be a brave person not to give a John Barry score the #1 spot.

But an insane one to have Conti ahead of most of Barry's output!

Although I do have a soft spot (or should that be hard?) for 'Make It Last All Night'.

I think that I'm the only one that finds Barry's final Bond score tinny, repetitious and grating (except for the battle between Bond and Whitaker, the music shines there).

I rather enjoy it, myself. It has four main themes and uses each one in several ways and with different arrangements, so I don't find it repetitive.

I think Octopussy is Barry's least inspired score, but since it's Barry, that's no problem. The Man with the Golden Gun is very underrated, I feel.

I agree with everything you just said.

TLD features renditions of all three songs and adds the desert theme to that as well.

TMWTGG is a very atmospherical score too. I always find myself eager to watch it when I listen to it.

DAD's score receives far too much flack on here. Sure, the electronic elements aren't for everyone, but it's rich orchestral elements bring it way above SP or GE. I feel as if some are arbitrarily placing it near bottom due to its association with what some feel is the nadir of the franchise.

That could be true, but DAD isn't a Bond score I play very often....
