Yeah that's the one ha ha I have a habit of not using merchandise bought for me though I'll probably use the towel if I forget laundry day
Has anyone had the chance to read these?
BTW... Merry Christmas everyone.
To give context to the first item, my mother was providing care to an older neighbor of ours who later passed away and while I was helping the late woman's family clean out her house her son gave me all his old 50s and 60s vinyls he no longer wanted. Now I'll actually be able to enjoy them instead of letting them sit around.
The only thing Bond related to that is that I used several witty one-liners.
I have practically incorporated them into my daily vocabulary.
And no, I don't only come once a year on Christmas.... ha ha ha....
My step daughter got me this amazing present. Quite chuffed I was!
Also...the new hardcover Felix Leiter graphic novel!
Artwork looks great and like just the kind of dark yakuza-noir story I'm looking for. Felix Leiter is such an awesome character. It'll be fun to dive into a story that brings him to the forefront in a modern setting.
That's some nice cover art by Mike Perkins! Met him once at a comic book convention back in 2011, where he had a two-day comic book script course with Howard Chaykin. Have to check out the Felix Leiter comic book soon!
Although I did get 'Becoming Bond' starring George Lazenby. So not completely devoid of OO7. When you've been a Bond fan as long as I have it's hard to find anything that I don't have already.
I got the le Carré on the day it came out and I haven't read it yet. I have a bit of a backlog on the To Read front.
Excellent! I know you're a great appreciator of the retro, like me, so you definitely need one.
It's a special edition of the latest Splitter/Dynamite release BLACK BOX.
Plus the 4th edition of the classic comic strips in high quality book form.
I was amazed to find the 007 fragrance when I was shopping before Christmas. He'll like that very much.
Probably because you have everything Bond related that you could possibly have.
Me to! Usually put le Carré on top of the 'to read' list when I have the chance to read one of his books.
Was it a vintage one or a new one?
Don't.
