    Oh absolutely, that was quite the time. I think we collectively had somewhere around 600-800 Bond movie viewings between the three of us that year? I doubt I hit those numbers again, but I'd certainly like to get back into the groove of popping one in every now and then. It's a shame I haven't seen the whole series since then.

    Definitely so. I had a blast with all three. Great variety in styles but all with distinctly Bond DNA. NSNA in particular is really growing on me these days but I also had one of my best viewings of TND this time out.

    It's a film I generally enjoy. However on this viewing, I found it to be sub par.
    The story is pretty weak. The underwater sequences and climax are dire. The action is infrequent, Kim Basinger is woeful. Connery even turns in a Roger Mooreesque performance in this one. It's also extremely dated. However I do love Largo and Fatima.
    Bernie Casey's Felix is also one of the best imo. How I wish any of those three could've been part of the EON series.
    Its as if Connery, McClory et al were so focused on getting one over EON, that they forgot to make a Bond film. This is merely a low grade spy thriller, with a character called James Bond.
    You might think I'm overly biased toward OP, but it is in my opinion a clear winner in all aspects compared to NSNA.

    Interesting. I like most of it besides the weird silly bits (Tarzan yell most of all) and the climax sequence. It isn’t a particularly strong Bond film IMO, but still mostly enjoyable. The auction and the gambling scenes are my favorite parts.

    Watched two of my favorites to celebrate a special occasion. My Bond viewings have been down recently with the birth of my first child. May he be a future Bond fan who adds more viewings to our meter in the future :)
