Some shooting in the opening scene here...........now we get to the titles.

I don't believe this is a Lalo Schifrin score.....................

    it's Jerry Fielding.
    One creepy bad guy.

Fielding's work is not as good as Schifrin's. Too lighthearted, for lack of a better word. Lalo's scores were edgier and more serious.

    Harry is always teasing DiGiorgio.

I miss Schifrin in this one, but the score is alright.

And McKay is one. But a great character, the most hateable of Harry's bosses.

(I don't know why they renamed him Briggs in Sudden Impact.)

Michael Cavanaugh is great. He played a bank robber on Diff'rent Strokes.

I always felt he could've played James Cagney in a bio pic.

Yeah, it's an odd change of name.

Albert Popwell is great. One of my favorite character actors.

I became a Dirty Harry fan around the time SUDDEN IMPACT came out, yet didn't see that film for years. I believe I first saw THE ENFORCER when aired on NBC.

THE DEAD POOL is the only one I saw in the cinema.

This scene with Tyne Daly and Clint hanging out drinking apple juice reminds me of TIGHTROPE.

I need to get a copy of that one.

Bond reference by Dick Durock. Great actor played a rival Hulk on THE INCREDIBLE HULK.

The brothel scene is hilarious. Larry Dickman. LOL

Clint looks great with the cap and leather jacket.

I love the toilet plunger to the face.

    The climactic battle shoot out.
I love all 5 Harry films and find it hard to rank them, though the first is probably my favorite. Then I love SUDDEN IMPACT.
I have a soft spot for this one as well. I really need to start re-collecting my Clint films. When I moved, several were left behind. The other day I found a copy of FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE. I didn't trust that it was an anamorphic transfer so I passed. I'll have to get a box set of that trilogy.

Star Wars The Last Jedi I would likely get banned if I truly expressed how I felt about this pile of utter crap.

Luke is not apathetic in this film it is Mark Hamill... Why? Because Rian Johnson does not direct a performance from any actor in this film, the acting is terrible.

This film has no pathos, no mythology no heart or soul, this film is a heartless copy of far superior story telling.

The Mary Poppings Leia scene effected me in the first part, in the cinema in fact I was overwhelmed by emotion I thought Leia was dead echoing reality, then it was terrible.

This is easily the worst Star Wars film based on it being devoid of narrative and any level of dramatic tension.
