LALD's Tommy Lane was born Tommy Lee Jones.

RIP Tommy Lane. He had a small role in LALD but did it well.

Sadly actor Jack Hedley has passed away at the age of 91.
Hedley played the small but important role of Sir Timothy Havelock in FYEO.

I know what some of you will say : that this actress's demise has no place in this thread. But I beg to differ. After all, she travelled in a gimmicked-up car created by Bond's creator, and confronted one of Bond's most famous villains, and that, in my mind, is reason enough fo that honour. So, it's with great sadness that I have to tell you that actress Sally Ann Howes, who played the aptly named Truly Scrumptious (and she certainly was) in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, has passed away, aged 91.

Ever since I was a kid, I was always struck by Kenneth Tsang's DAD performance. The man is on screen for less than five minutes but he steals the film. It's disproportionately great work to the point where it feels entirely out of place in DAD. I wonder if he was aware of what the content of the rest of the film was like, he might not have played it so straight :))
