At least we each have a Bond film in there somewhere!
And I had an 80s battle between DH vs Raging Bull-- but I succumbed to this: I watch DH for escapism (fun), and RB, (probably my favorite film from the 80s), is anything but fun. But it is beautiful.
Another fight I had was in the 00s for the same reason: Sopranos was my favorite show, but it depressed the hell out of me where--
Dexter's stories were twisted and dark but didn't leave me feeling like I was Gandolfini's wheezing, uncomfortable and heavy breaths.
This is a great thread and really had me stumped.

Aside from Bond I'm not following many movies this past decade, or television.
1970s: Jaws / The Six Million Dollar Man

1990s: GoodFellas / The X-Files
2000s: Almost Famous / Friday Night Lights

10s: Skyfall / Deutschland 83
Both R&H and QL span the end of one decade and the start of another, so I'm cheating a bit.
@TripAces, Get Smart is my all-time favourite (obviously).

(Missed the part about “from each decade you’ve been alive.” How unnecessarily ageist!)
...don't ask.
You are right. I'll change it.
Yay, thank you! Complaining works. :)
Birth of A Nation

Interesting! I started watching when it was first on, then decided to just buy it when it came out on DVD, and never got to it. I think I need to fix that asap!
