Post-Blofeld, will we see another Irma Bunt? A new Mr. Big? A redder Drax? A younger Goldfinger?

Who's next? And who will never be rebooted because they're just too iconic?

I could also see a re-inteoduction to or a nod to Fiona Volpe in B25.

Rosa Klebb will be revealed to have survived the shooting in Venice and to actually be Rose Delacroix, the identical twin of Monique Delacroix Bond. Rose also had a climbing accident as a child (on Mount Elbrus) but was miraculously saved and raised by a couple of female KGB agents.

Notable line from the Bond 27 script: "Hello, Aunt Rose...and do svidanya!"

I think Irma Bunt could certainly work if B25 takes the SPECTRE route. Apart from the ugly SPECTRE women, like Klebb, I don't see too many possibilities. Tracy? Perhaps? I don't know.

Nobody. SPOILER ; ) I think Lucia should be new hench woman (not inspecialy for Oberhouser's Blofeld). She be new Karin Dor/Irma Bunt. This time for three movies, what mean i like to see she return twice.

Bond don't complete trust her in Spectre at funeral. I have feeling she can turn out as trater. Her part in Spectre is to short.

I actually wouldn't mind that at all. Other rebooted franchises have seen new incarnations of villains.

It could be brilliant. Just keep him as sinister as Jaws was before dropping the boulder on his foot.

I agree with this one. :D Crispin Glover can play Mr. Wint. Like his father before him.

No villain should be rebooted ever again. There's extremely little chance a rebooted villain in a contemporary setting will turn out better than the original one, and I don't see the point in making something worse than it was before. Hopefully, the Blofeld fiasco made EON realise this.

The only way to make old villains and plots work is in a period TV series faithful to Fleming. If done right, it could be awesome.

Hopefully no one. Blofeld is perceived to be Bond's arch nemesis, so it made some sense to bring him back, but doing the same with anybody else would be unimaginative and unnecessarily self-referential in a series that needs to stay fresh and feel diverse, and which could just as easily invent new and effective villains, like it always has.

I don't even want to see Klebb or Bunt back. Bringing Blofeld back was more than enough.

Edit: one of the strengths of these movies is that they're always moving forward, in terms of story and characters. New villains, new women, new allies. If you keep bringing bad guys back, the world of Bond will start to feel awfully familiar, small and limited very quickly. A terrible decision. This isn't Batman, it's Bond.

Irma Bunt and Alec Trevelyan. Spectre can stick around as long as they use the villains from the John Gardner books. Blofeld could also get a cinematic redemption, especially after Spectre copied Austin Powers. And Daniel Craig said that their Blofeld was nothing like Dr. Evil.

Lets not go down that route. Just give us talented new writers to bring us new villains. Rebooting old villains is just lazy and quite frankly unnecessary.

I would rather they kept moving forward and didn’t revive any old villains, but if they must I do think we could get a better storyline with Scaramanga.
Lee was the perfect choice for a non Fleming approach to the role but sadly the storyline they dropped him in was rubbish.

I agree with the view that villains should not be re-booted. A golden opportunity was missed with SP and Blofeld. I would have preferred a real solid trilogy instead we got "Blofeld is my brother" crap jammed and shoe horned into one movie.

I wouldn't want to see Goldfinger, Dr. No or any of the others brought back. Move on and develop new stories and new villains for our hero to conquer.

While I agree it shouldn't be done, this is just a bit of fun so..

I'd love to see a modern interpretation of Rosa Klebb, played by Amira Ghazalla.

Hmmm, I didn't take it as a joke and thought the OP was seriously asking the question. The thought of GF or DN or any other iconic villains being rebooted doesn't appeal to me. Maybe we are only open to Blofeld being rebooted cause he was already played by multiple actors.

I would love to see some of John Gardner's villains brought to the big screen but this probably isn't for this thread.
