FYI: cgi allows Malek to look any age the film calls for. See Brad Pitt in Benjamin Button.

I don’t like the child or Madeline being involved at all. If we have to have a flashback I’d rather it be of bond and an event that ties into the plot of him becoming a 00 or at skyfall etc.

Are you a relative of any poster on this site? Is your replacement for Craig, Aiden Turner @Tuck91 ? Curious, that's all...

FYI, a major spoiler (such as a character death or major plot twist) should still be in spoiler tags. This does not include speculation.

I was tremendously disappointed with the wasted potential of Blofeld, but also with the superficial utilization of Hinx and the forced relationship with Madeline. We know that she is returning and I like what’s being done to flesh out her character and ,hopefully, realize her full potential. If successful, it may enhance the chemistry with Bond and be more satisfying than what was achieved in SPECTRE.
What I’ve seen to date is very promising.

OMG, a new thread. To which I say, "007, try not to muck it up again."

I am hopeful that Seydoux will have chemistry with Craig this time around. She did have it, briefly, playfully, and appealingly, in L'Americain. I doubt Fukunaga would have cast her again unless he saw potential in their pairing.

Yes, that sequence did work ; they played off of each other well.

Nope I have no interest in aiden turner or anyone on the radar to replace craig. I’m interested in the character of Ian Fleming’s James Bond played by Daniel Craig in his 5th and final outing. I’m not interested in Madeline and someone she shot in a story from spectre. Especially 5 years later

What is up with the blade...seemingly drenched in blood? That actor looks like he's about to get whacked by a member of the crew, when nobody's watching. :O

Alright so here’s my honest opinion no bs...

Rami Malek weighs 135-140. He’s tiny.
    Also 5’9.

That man in the mask is definitely 170-180 pounds at least.

Yes him and Rami look similar but how do you guys explain the weight difference?

The CGI or Rami 20 years ago is complete bs.

Google Rami Malek 2005 and then 2019. He looks the same. He was a terrorist on the show 24 way back when he was maybe 28-30. He’s maybe 38-39 now and he looks the same. I honestly thought Rami was in his late 20s early 30s.

I just don’t see the stunt man being Rami.

    The weight difference confirms that.

That’s like comparing Daniel Craig to the rock.

    EDIT:

I was comparing photos from the set and Sebastian (Malek stunt man) and I don’t think it’s him. The guy from the set just looks way bigger than Malek and the stunt man Sebastian.

The flashback, if it is so, probably takes place around 2000 when Madeleine is about 10.

Also, that actor looks nothing like Malek. It's quite possible for Malek's character to be involved or to have had a hand in this scene in some way, but I highly doubt that he's the guy who shoots at Madeleine 20 years prior.

It's not a knife, but a red and white tape/ribbon tied to the tree behind them. Look at the right side of this image, it's the same trees:

    Wouldn’t she be 14 going on 15?
As far as the size of the stuntman, IF this is Malek’s character, any difference in stature and weight is easily accounted for by the clothing, terrain and framing of the scene.
Stunt performers are not always the exact same size as the actor.
But then again, this may not be Makek’s character. :D

Numbers were never my strong suit...

So perhaps the flashback would take place some time in the mid-90s. How cool would it be to see the film open with the traditional gunbarrel, followed by "Norway, 1995"

After the gunbarrel I’d much rather see this masked assilant break into the Norway cabin and have an encounter with bond similar to the slate fight scene in quantum of solace. This is the intensity I want brought back from Craig’s first two films.

It makes more sense to me then showing a random scene of young Lea killing a guy

How does that make sense to you @JamesBondKenya? Let’s say that Bond and Madeline conceived and then gave birth to a child after the events of Spectre. The kid is not going to be very old, now is she? She’d still be a little toddler at the beginning of Bond 25. Everything points to this being the event that was discussed on the train between Madeline and Bond.

Hopefully this will refresh your memory on why your theory makes even less sense. Clearly the events that kickoff Bond 25 were foreshadowed in SP.

Currently we don’t know how this sequence fits into the PTS. For instance, it could be a genuine flashback. One scenario could be the movie opens in Italy at their wedding ceremony, when all of a sudden their wedding vows are interrupted by a hostile assault. Maybe one of the attackers loses a gun with Bond shouting to Madeline, who’s taken cover, to pick up the gun. Immediately she has a flashback to the events of her childhood when she killed a man. Whatever the exchange the masked man says to her as he pulls her out of the ice is repeat by one of their wedding assailants, snapping her out of her reverie. Of course I’m not claiming this is how the events will unfold, but until further details emerge, our best option is to go with the obvious one: that this is a young Madeline killing one of her father’s assassins.

@bondsum relax dude. Look I just don’t think that it’s that scene. I mean it has little relevance to actually show us, the audience it. We’ve already heard about it, there isn’t really a good enough reason to actually just show it on screen. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was bonds child. The film will be like 5 years after spectre, in the movies timeline that could be stretched to more like 10 (DKR style). Ofcoarse it could be a flashback for Madeline but that specific scene- i dont know it just doesn’t seem necessary to show it and I highly doubt they would go out and film such a sequence.

Bond will never have a child. Never. This is worse than brothergate and the DAD surfing scene combined.

He had one in the novels. Doesn't mean I want it in the films though.

I’m relaxed @JamesBondKenya. I’m merely pointing out why it makes more sense for it to be a young Madeline. Bond movies are not set in the future. Bond25 will follow the present timeline and feature cars and products available in the shops today. For instance, if Bond uses a phone it won’t be one from the future. Anyway, this is going nowhere.

I know. I meant in the film series, which I can’t imagine.
