Yeah, no big loss. Especially if it's for a small cameo scene. Pretty unprofessional of Grace Jones ( if true).

Honestly it’s just pathetic that Daily Mail and The Sun are still desperately trying to make the film look bad while fans are finally getting excited. Only negativity matters to some news outlets I guess. I would have liked a cameo, but it’s hardly the end of the world to not get one. And Jones shouldn’t have expected a big role going in anyway.

I'm fairly certain the whole thing was a fabrication.

Any news about further location filming in London today (Monday) ? They may well plan to avoid weekdays and if so, does anyone know about the possibility of the next few weekends?
Any heads up news would be appreciated.

I wonder if people keep posting daily mail bollocks here for the laugh at this point. Or is there still -- shudder to think -- true believers here?

Yeah Im glad theirs no cameo from Grace Jones, leave her as Mayday. Nothing personal but I dont think it would add anything and if she left as soon as she arrived, then good bye. If it was a tribute to Roger Moore as some have suggested, maybe have a cameo from someone that he liked working with, such as Maud Adams.

If it’s all true, then what an unprofessional, ungrateful woman.

First thought in my head after seeing the picture was his delivery in Spectre " Bond. James. Bond."

Missed this photo. Very stylish. Just don’t like the tie clip. :)

That makes no sense to me. How would they not have told her what she was hired for? The source is The Sun, I don't believe it.

    Yeah, it is odd.

Who knows about this particular story but there should be a damn law against making things up about people and events.

As long as the pacing is good, it shouldn't matter.

Exactly. OHMSS, CR and SF are very long but I'm never bored when I watch them

Anything is possible with Grace Jones. She's famous for her unpredictability.

I for one think she's great in AVTAK and really elevates the movie. But not entirely sure I'd want her back.

Neither. I could watch a four hour Bond film and not get bored. Love ‘Dances With Wolves’, the directors cut; not a moment of boredom.

Well, okay, the Bond film would have to have interesting characters and not have too much action otherwise I’d get bored.

OHMSS - totally agree. Although the stuff in Piz Gloria drags a bit.

CR - overlong. Cut the Miami chase sequence?

SF - no rewatch value. Overlong. Meandering. Pure stodge.

I'm hoping B25 is under 2 hours 30 mins. Preferably just over 2 hrs. More than enough IMO.

The clapperboard suggests this is in the 3rd act.

Edit: More filming taking place in Southwark tonight!

Perhaps this is Q's flat? Would explain the random bespoke limited edition Aston Martin.
Yep I could be thrilled! I wish it was that new Aston Martin DB11 instead of that concept

Agree on the last two (especially SP). I very, very, very much prefer films to be efficient enough to tell the story in no longer than 120-130 mins. No matter how good the film is, really.

They were filming down this road later in the afternoon......which means there will be 4 Aston Martin's in the film. Though the DB11 looks to be more of a cameo......

Could this be Bond's house in London? Perhaps he's moved to Southwark? I suppose it's a little more central than Knightsbridge. He could walk to work............................

I'm betting that this is Q's flat. Perhaps 007 makes a house call? I know it's a really geeky detail but Cary wears some pretty hipster glasses (I believe they are Moscot's), so I'm excited to see what glasses he picks for Ben Whishaw.

Also, I adore the new photo of the 007 page. Our first official look at Bond in the film. it screams elegance and class. Reminds me of Lazenby int he 1960s in swinging London.

This is incredibly exciting. That V8 really suits Craig. It's amazing to see him back in action, it's as if no time at all has passed since 2015.

Totally agree about the V8. Its just one of the coolest Aston Martins.

It is, but I just can't see it and not see Dalton. If they wanted him in a classic car rather a new one then there are plenty of options that could have been cool (personally I think it's a crime that we've never had Bond in an E Type, or if it has to be an Aston why not one of those big beefy 90s vantages?) without coming across as "hey guys, remember this?". The tweet says it all really. "First seen in a Bond film in THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS". All caps. Look at us guys. Remember this? That was a good film wasn't it.

I know I'm being a miserable bastard and I don't mean to be. DC looks great in that photo and while the plot so far doesn't sound like the most exciting on paper, I do think the film is shaping up nicely. But I'm really not a fan of how self referential the Craig era has been. Yeah Bond has a rich history but it's lasted as long as it has by moving forward. The reason we've managed to have a continuous run of films (as opposed to the series dying out and being rebooted again and again) was because they did everything they could to help Moore make the part his own and differentiate him from Connery. No Aston, no "shaken not stirred", etc. They kept moving forward. The flares and the digital watches might seem naff now but it was all modern at the time. Moore wasn't Connery. I want them to do that again. Make some new icons. From SF onwards the films have had a very retro vibe (and even before then you had the GF homage in QoS), which was cool for the anniversary but is starting to grate on me now.

    Agreed.

That's Dalton's Bond car. Thats what i associate it with.

These hark backs to previous films are getting tiresome and are needless.

I see this is going down the SF/SP type route, which doesen't exactly fill me with joy.

I agree that some of the nods can feel egregious and groanworthy. Esepecialy when they lift from DN, GF or YOLT. It can feel a little hamfisted. (Though I loved the reintroduction of Blofeld's scar in SP)

Personally, I adore the fact that they have picked a slightly more forgotten Bond film amongst mainstream audiences and giving us the TLD car. It's a cool grace-note. Nor is it's appearance particularly 'loud' or groanworthy. It's really just a nod to the fans opposed to general audiences.

In fact, it reminds me of the use of the underwater breather in DAD. Which is still one of the best Bond gadgets of all time. It's cameo in DAD was purely to move the plot forward and to give the superfans a buzz in the audience for the 10 seconds it was onscreen.

meanwhile.......Rami is back in NYC. So he was filming for around week at Pinewood. Most interesting. I assume he will be returning to the set soon.

Wow you go away for the weekend and come back to loads of new things to talk about
Frist of all, I love that picture of Daniel, the man is Bond in that picture. Connery/McQueen level cool.
I feel like I must have at some point been in the production meeting for Bond 25 because it's ticking all my own boxes
    Daniel Craig back
    Jeffrey Wright (Felix) back
Ana De Armas as a Bond girl
    The V8 Vantage
    A tropical island location (Jamaica)
    A new exciting director
    A creepy villain
The only other thing I want is You Know My Name, to feature in the credits
If it is called Death To Spies, then I fear my house is bugged by Eon haha.

I can't wait to see this film now, these new pics have just really hyped up my anticipation more for this film. Now that Eon are starting to acknowledge the film on their twitter it feels real

Haha, definitely. She died in AVTAK. I don't see the point of having her back, even for a brief cameo, perhaps in a different role. Those unnecessary things always take me slightly out from the movie. Like happened with some lines and forced references to the past in SF.

I think it's worked out for the best. No idea why she would return. Silly gimmick, perhaps. Oh well, there's always Bond 26, Grace. :D

    Just a guess..

    FLASHBACK MADELINE DIES: DB5

    Bond's main car: V8

    LYNCH'S CAR: New Aston

I can't imagine Bond driving all three astons..

The Valhalla will probably just show up at Q branch. Bond wants it, but has to settle for the old thing parked in the corner ;)

    ...probably.

And not a single photo released of him on the set with any from the crew?

It could have been good marketing. Especially after the Craig-and-Malek schedule conflict.

If he isn't returning...that would probably be the smallest villain part, since Renard in TWINE.

Okay, so the V8 Vantage appears in both London and Norway.

Does Bond drive it to or from Norway to London?

Scene 108 is Cuba and scene 139 is the V8 in London, so it would make sense that he drives it to Norway (or whereever place Norway is doubling for).
