They usually premiere a clip on that show too so I'm excited!
It'd be great to see another one! ALready seen the bridge chase, wonder what they'll show this time?
I think either Nomi and bond or Felix and bond in Jamaica!
I think Norton is always recorded the night before broadcast on the Thursday, isn't it?
Yeah but I expect NTTD to be in the less boring camp more akin to skyfall. And with that I believe they showed the digger clip and Silva dropping the train.
I remember the BBC podacast gave us a snippet of Q and Bond on the plane and Nomi's exchange, could be either of those scenes but with the visuals
"Bond was sort of being pursued to the heart of a labyrinth"
Lol
They can't help themselves but use mythic language 😂
Oh that is sinister!

Bit where they say Boyle's was more "whimsical" and "tongue in cheek" is interesting. Glad they went in a different direction for more tonal consistency.

Interesting article, especially the little bit about Danny Boyle's version. I'd be really interested to see a Boyle-directed Bond film. I imagine it would be very colorful, arty, stylish, & fast-paced. I think it would be quite different from the long, drawn out, epic films we've had for the last few.
I just did not think it would be a good fit for the narrative weight of Craig's final film, especially since it seemed to not be following the established story arc.
Well, as of this moment I haven't seen either version of the film so I can't say which is best! :)
Very glad we're getting this version, as well.
But I do hope -- after NTTD is released -- that someone, maybe MI6-HQ or another fan site that's in the know, writes a detailed piece on what Boyle's B25 was supposed to be.
It seemed clear from some of the Tweets and posts etc. at the time that there are site admins and members of the fan community who had more specific knowledge of what that film was going to deliver. I'd love, love, love to know.
“Fukunaga, who lists Martin Campbell’s Casino Royale and Peter R. Hunt’s On Her Majesty’s Secret Service as his two Bond favorites…”
All of which sounds extremely cool.
It’s all about the concept and I would’ve hated some extravagant, less serious standalone Boyle’s concept for Craig’s last, especially since the way SP ended, the way they made all his films connected.
And by the way, Danny is overrated.
Cool to know Fukunaga’s favorites are CR and OHMSS.
I don't think we know enough about what was planned to write it off. Eon seemed not to be totally sold on it, which I guess is a sign, but maybe it was just a difference over where they wanted to take it.
Sometimes, sometimes he's good though. Maybe when this director has been around a bit more and made a few more films he'll have some good and bad ones too. And we haven't seen this one yet, it may yet not be all we hope it is.
