Had a thought. Is it looking likely that Felix will die? We know that Bond is working with him at first and it's him who goes to Jamaica and gets him out of retirement. But then he's not there in London and why would Bond need to go to MI6 for help if he still had the CIA's backing? I'm thinking that he could die to raise the stakes and it might be this that spurs Bond to go back to the UK for help/backup.

Alternatively it could just be that he gets what he/the CIA need early on and bows out then while Bond stays on Malek's tail for personal reasons (probably because of him finding out he was also behind Madeline's death at the start). Just popped into my head because his role in the film doesn't seem to be being talked about much.

An important character dies in every of Craigs films. So most likely, yes.

Who died in SPECTRE? Mr White doesn't count, he's a villain

I wish people would stop speculating about cloning in Bond 25, or justify their speculation by evidence that cloning is indeed a plot point of the movie. I mean seriously, after a cloned Blofeld, a cloned Madeleine we now talk about a cloned Vesper? How about cloning Bond while we're at it?

Madeleine seems a lot more likely to die than Felix. They’ve never offed Felix before so that would be a really big deal. Personally I predict Madeleine and the main villain will be the only major deaths.

If it is Madeline in a flashback then I get the feeling
    Blofeld will make a return

I dont think that killing Madeleine is a good idea (but it can be well executed in film). Her character is very similar to Bond as she is alone in this world and connecting this two people represents in some way new beginning for James. Killing Madeleine, as for me, is the same as killing Bond and it launches same story trope as story with Vesper.

The couple things we can look forward to in this film is Ben Whishaw as Q and Rami Malek as a Bond villain. The rest of the cast seem like they are going through the motions, or just looking for a nice payday/profile boost. I haven't seen anything from Cary Fukunaga yet which hasn't left me with the impression that he is a man out of his depth in this enviroment. He doesn't really seem in command on set like Mendes and Campbell.

Negative much? You don't seem to be having as much fun as the rest of us. And most of your negative ramblings aren't based on anything solid, just speculation and paranoia. And for that we've got the Production thread, which is full of that, as you very well know.

He just wants an end to this era and Aidan Turner cast as Bond, sour grapes with out friend @Mendes4Lyfe. He's trying to be measured and mature about it but his posts are laced with a not too subtle I can't stand Craig and I'll be cockahoop once he's gone.

If DC pulled out and they retooled this film for a new Bond and Aidan Turner was appointed he wouldn't give a shit about CF directing or the army of writers involved in this, it's all about Daniel Craig he hates him and can't but help with huge delight sticking the knife in and giving it a twist.

How can you make a judgement that CF is out of his depth without seeing the final product?

I think visiting Vesper grave (about what there are meny speculations) will be much better fit not for beginning, but for end of the film as a symbol of start of new life for Bond by paying tribute to his old inner demons from previous life.

I think Billy Magnussen's other CIA guy is involved in whatever comes after these London scenes (the Atlantic Road shoot - there's a face replacement double that looks like him), so with that in mind I've definitely been thinking he gets killed at a point in the film.

I really hope they don't touch this Vesper flashback and cloning in general in Bond 25, or I fear my excitement for this film with take a nosedive.

I hope this Vesper thing is just people reaching, because if it is in the movie, it will be daft to say the least. You can't bring back the leading lady from the last film (and possibly marry her) and then call back to Vesper from Casino in a flashback. It will undermine Madeline completely as a real love interest. I never truly believed she was anything special for Bond in Spectre, so they need to address that somehow in Bond 25 and bringing back Vesper will be the wrong way to go about it.

I don't mind them trying to tie up loose ends left from Spectre, but can we please stop calling back to past films every five minutes. Without some originality, the film will feel stale and Daniel deserves more than that if this is to be his final bow as 007.

I know it's only rumours, so I'm not going to worry about all that too much. I have faith in Eon, Cary and the amazing cast and crew to produce a top tier Bond film.
Yeah, all the stuff with Green reprising the role seems like reaching indeed. Though it does appear (according to the MI6-HQ guys/their sources) that there will be a callback to her at the PTS (Bond possibly taking Madeleine to her grave) - something like that does feel right to tie up the Craig era, which was arguably defined by his relationship with Vesper.

Damn, I'm a Turner supporter myself. But I can't for the life of me understand this kind of behaviour when we have a great actor like Craig filming his last film with an unbelievably talented cast and crew. Oh well, too bad for him - M4L, I mean.

He doesn't think he's a great actor ( most likely never seen Our Friends In The North), thinks he's one note and has no charisma.

How anyone can advocate Brosnan and think Craig is less an actor. Some need spelt out in capitals or just so tied to the larger than life Bond who swans around like a playboy enjoying every second of what he's doing.

The irony is that Turner's interpretation would likely be not that far removed from Craig's and I hazard a guess that Aidan probably greatly admires Daniel and what he's done for the role.

Craig haters can't accept that this actor has changed the game and the type of actor who wants to play the part, he's hugely respected in the acting community and has top directors singing his praises. Rian Johnson wanted no one but Craig Benoit Blanc in Knives Out, I think that says it all really and David Fincher was hugely complimentary of him as is Spielberg.

I don't think if DC was as one note as @Mendes4Lyfe said that these hugely admired film makers would be saying what they do about him.

Craig doesn't play James Bond like he's saying to people look at me I'm James Bond and I can't believe it, I'm so in awe of it like a certain other actor.

He plays the role like a real living breathing person and I'm afraid some Bond fans mistaken this for blank and expressionless.

@Shardlake, I agree. Come over to the "Who Still Has a Difficult Time Getting Into Craig?\" thread so we can further discuss this. I've been saying what you've said. Personally, people see Turner as a Brosnan 2nd coming; I don't, I see him as a new thing post Craig. A new Bond, changed because of Craig, still new and again rooted on the actor's strengths. There are at least two threads we can discuss this, though, and I don't want to derail the Filming one. We've been low on news this weekend, and that's easily done, the derailing bit, I mean.

That being said, I knew we'd be on the same page, whatever page that might be ;)

He would, really. It's up there with his kind of casting. But like I've been saying, there are threads for this. One springs to mind:

I mean, what's so bloody difficult about this? This is Bond25s FILMING thread!!! All Bond26 matters, idiocies about code theories, stuff about how the production is doomed, ..., all have their own threads. Please, please, please go there so we can discuss freely about fetishes for Christopher Nolan, Daniel Craig's hair, Barbara Broccoli's undies, and whatever!

    Now, about the filming!...

Must say I love the look of Naomie Harris. It will be interesting to se how they'll use Moneypenny this time around, as she looks to be spending time with Bond outside the offices.

I don't care about ranking Harris' Moneypenny just as I don't care about people don't accepting Craig as Bond because his movies are "depressing", "personal" and "have killed the FUN". Couldn't care less.

(But she's 100% the hottest one).

BTW, all this cloning stuff in the hands of P&W is definitely explosive material. XD

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking Naomi Harris is the hottest Moneypenny. She's a bit too sexy for the role in fact.

Lol the great Christopher Nolan recently cast Robert Pattinson in his new movie. Who will be next bond if he will direct? Just imagine. Aiden is far better than Pattinson imo.

Because he is a very easy target, unfortunately. Broz is a fine actor in his own right. He always has been, and has gotten better with age.

I do try to skip over all speculation on plot. Mostly I'm still here for confirmation of things and photos. :) So ... Eva Green is not confirmed, right? I like her a lot, of course. Naomie looking great so far in all the shots I've seen.

I think a scene like that could be a potential highlight of the film!

On a side note: Is this area an expensive place to live in? For someone not living anywhere near London or the UK, this will be a nice little detail to know.

So Eva Green is confirmed for Bond 25?? Maybe she was cloned..? Interesting.

Cary and Eva followed each other on instagram and Eva liked all of his Bond 25 posts. I find that super odd. She has never liked any of the past Bond posts after CR.

I would assume she is definitely in the film. Here is my crazy theory.

In SP, Bond found a tape that said "VESPER", he watches it.

SPECTRE, talks about a cloning project. Thats how we got a young madeline scene.
CR was what 13-14 years ago in the timeline? Maybe they found a way to clone Vesper's dead body, technically its not the Vesper that Bond knew.

Madeline is dead, what better way to toy with Bond then have Vesper back in a surprise cameo/twist?

Wouldn't hate it TBH. Bond has to kill Vesper.. I could see this happening based on the rumors. They have to connect Spectre with this film.

    Why would they do that?

Let's set aside the pseudo-Sci-Fi element for a moment and assume that this cloning element is indeed part of the plot. Spectre has developed this technology. But it can't be cheap. So what do they do with it? Clone Madeleine and/or Vesper? For what purpose would that serve? That really makes no sense at all, tbh.

If there is a cloning element to this film, it would likely mirror The Boys from Brazil. The purposes were far more nefarious (and terrifying) than cloning an enemy agent's ex-girlfriend(s).

BTW: that entire film is available for free on You Tube.

Why do all speak about Vesper return? Were some reasons for that?

In my opnion Moneypenny look like she breaking up with her boyfriend (see Spectre).
She is on slippers, are Bond visiting here whyle she was in the bathroom.

MP: I don't need your help to shave my legs. Please go before my boyfriend see's you, you all cost me my relationship. Bond: So you have a life. Sjure you don't need help, i mabey need shave again.
