  • Greg has/had? a cameo in this too but I think that was cut before filming even finished, guess we'll all know soon enough if either of them made it into the finished thing.

Greg is next to Bond when he takes a shot with the scorpion in Skyfall. Michael also made it in but merely as a background extra in the funeral scene. He definitely has a cameo in NTTD.

I just remember being told his moment was cut, but if it's stayed that's nice.

I might’ve asked before but can we expect another MGW cameo this time?

Good point. I know this is a boring question but did he do some in the last two? I can only think of him in CR.

In Skyfall, the scene was deleted, he was a mourner for the dead agents. In Spectre, he is will Gregg Wilson in the scene with M and C: (You’re a cocky little bast*rd, aren’t you).

Ah thank you; I have never spotted that Spectre scene, I'll look out for it.

He's actually in SF for the briefest of seconds. Right after the shot of M viewing the coffins, the door opens and you can see MGW standing there before it cuts back to her.

It makes me so happy yet so jealous at the same time. These next nine days are going to take forever, I fear. I hope they're loving it, though!

Shouldn't we be getting reviews in just a few minutes with embargo time? Or will they wait a bit until after the full premiere?

They’ll need a bit of time to write the reviews, initial reactions certainly.

Fingers crossed they both end up in it, I feel like you can actually see Gregg in one of the trailers but it's just as it fades to a different shot so it's not obvious. Logically I can't really see how he wouldn't have ended up in it unless the whole scene got shortened or cut.

Here's the shot Gregg is in, on the left: https://ibb.co/wKYBRWK

I bet he'll always be a great ambassador. Just like Richard Kiel or Christopher Lee always were.

Just realized I was really off with the time zones. Still an hour and half to go on embargo.

Excited for the reviews. I saw one that was posted by a YouTuber a couple days ago. Not sure if I believe he really saw the film, but who knows? Maybe he did?

I'm not too bothered by spoilers, TBH. If there were an element of the film I would truly dislike, I'd rather know ahead of time (like the gunbarrel at the end of QoS for instance).

A French critic who has just seen the film has just told me in private that the fim is very good but not on the same level as Casino Royale and Skyfall.

Apparently the first part of the film is incredible, but the second is disappointing.

This is exactly where I peg this to be with critics and general audiences - not as good as CR or SF, but better than QOS and SP.
