@jake24 @CASINOROYALE ... You don't think she had a life before meeting James Bond? I'd be willing to bet that she had a child, and out of concern for her safety, she left her with her father when she was a toddler. The scene shot in Norway could be doubling for somewhere else, where the father is taken and the daughter possibly escapes.
That is the storyline that I think is more plausible. Only question would be: Does the father have any connection to the scientist and the technology mentioned in EON's plot summary?
This is a possible premise:
While in Italy with her, James witnesses her murder and can’t catch the killers. He couldn't save her.
Post-TS: Russia. Months later, Spectre agents have converged on the home of an American scientist working in isolation. He lives with his new wife, and a young girl we at first assume to be theior daughter. The scientist is abducted, the wife dies, the child escapes.
M briefs Nomi (007) on the situation. It is revealed that the scientist is Madeleine's ex and the missing girl is her daughter. The person to talk to is Bond, who has retired in Jamaica. “It would be best to find him before the CIA does,” M says.
Bond is in Jamaica. Leiter contacts him about a job, but James has no interest. Later, he finds Nomi in his home; she says “People are looking for you.” “Let them keep looking,” is Bond’s general response. Eventually, Leiter is able to corner him, and convince him to talk. He reveals that a research scientist has been abducted, and the child is missing. He informs Bond that ther scientist is Madeleine’s ex and the child is her daughter. Out of obligation, Bond decides to go with leiter. But Nomi has other plans.
Where things go from there...who knows. But I sense an MI6-CIA tug-o-war, with Bond caught in the middle, and a young girl's life hanging in the balance. Meanwhile, Bond's attempt to find the girl and the scientist (who may simply be a red herring) brings him face-to-face with Spectre again.
Now that would be a plot twist!
I'd buy that no matter the cost. :D
Interesting that Ana has only one project to shoot next. It's about M. Monroe and I doubt that she has to be bold for it. Her only project in the process of making is B25 and maybe she did this with her hair for Bond.
That must be 99% for Monroe. Look at the hairpiece on the table to the right.
And the kiss smiley also indicates she's prepping up for Monroe. On top of that she's in LA.
But that means she definitly finished shooting Bond.
I think that Bond 25 title should simply be: #MeToo (with the hashtag)
I'd love to see that just to witness the hordes of men (on Bond forums especially) who would clutch their pearls and immediately faint or keel over from apoplexy at that being the title.
:))
1) they’re staying focused on what’s important, a good story, and
2) they’re putting some thought into it and they’re going to give us something that’s good, better than “A Reason to Die”, hopefully, anyway.
That is, if they actually have a title yet. I would not put it past them just to end the teaser with '007' too, or even the 3D-swirling version of the Bond 25 logo.
Same! Don't toy with my emotions that way ;)
Me too! Damn it! Damn it to hell!
Every thread gets better with some Archer GIFs!
Except with Nomi in more stylish spy attire, of course.
Ironically enough it was the first Bond film Cary saw.
@FrankXavier in what film?
I think it's her first starring role (?) hope it goes well for her.
