I definitely hold Johnathan Pryce as Elliot Carver in high regard. Robbie Coltrane as Zukovsky. The Brosnan era is filled with great antagonists.
There’s nothing to talk about re: Bond 25 until we get more news.
The literary Bond is far from a perfect human being. I’m glad the film makers have finally honed in on this. For me personally, the Brosnan era, excluding the occasional interesting character, is rubbish with Goldeneye, just being passable. That being said, I too am sick of the personal angle they have taken. QOS was one thing, SF was good overall but they went too far with the wishy washy disappointment that was Spectre. I atleast hope that 25 will be absent of Blofeld/Bond personal references. The Madeline/Bond scene does sound ominous in terms of the personal garbage that might show itself again but let’s see....

I do hope we get a teaser and or title soon, just to give us another reason to be excited. I'd love to get a teaser that is just that, and they don't reveal a lot about it but they just give you a small glimpse into the production that gets us talking
EON cannot afford to delay the film again, so they need a trailer out pronto for marketing. Even Top Gun: Maverick has a trailer, and it doesn't come out until next June. :O
And it's the best trailer since the first Fallout trailer.
We do need something to get things moving, IMO. Even the smallish teaser will do.

We? I believe the term is "speak for yourself". I for one have not wasted considerable time wondering or trying to convince others that this is a train wreck. Like any Bond movie before it, especially the ones which have reportedly had a plethora of production issues, I have waited patiently knowing that they will reveal what they ought, and show what they have, at the right time: to satisfy the wider audience who are quietly keen to see success, rather than the naysayers who seem determined to loudly find proof of failure. I do not presume I am alone in that belief and yes, whilst I do fully embrace that there has evidently been cause for concern whipped up into hyperbole by an overly keen media, in many instances it is impossible to "win back" , that which never left.

And then there are some here that crave quantity. They just want product, anything, and they want it fast. Or else... Well, in their logic, "or else" the movie is in shambles, a total disaster, and the "audience", whom they clearly represent, will stop caring. You see, audiences will take a dump on this film if they don't get a trailer now, today, pronto... If they have to wait another one or two months, obviously the film is a catastrophe. I mean, who cares if things look cool three months before the release? Unless we get daily updates and lots of promotional material a year in advance, the Apocalypse is near.
I'm rather liking what EON is doing right now. Just let the Internet and every fool with a keyboard rant now and leave them boiling in their own sweat. And then, strike back with the good stuff. This is 2005/2006 all over again except that the craigisntbonders have mutated into the filmisntcomingfastenough'ers. This is a group of people who believe they have subscribed to a monthly "shipment" of news, stills, video updates and more. They have invented the crazy rule that unless EON gives us something after a certain time interval, we can get the pitchforks out.
The rest of us are just happy there's a Bond film coming. When it comes, when it starts its trailer campaign and so on, we'll know. Meanwhile, life goes on without Xanax, ulcers and insomnia.
Anyone complaining that they're not getting enough content has their eyes shut! :)

Agree with every single word of this.
I made a post a few days ago in another thread in a similar vein (maybe a little too vehemently) but this bears repeating until such time as it sinks into people's heads.
God, how would the foot stamping, entitled, 'I want it NOW' brigade have coped back in the day, before t'internet was invented? I lived through those days as a Bond fan, and survived - so we have nothing to get worked up about today, with the plethora of content we're being gifted 👍
