    Cigar Girl fetish perhaps!

PS: I know, I know, off topic, but cmon. A gratuitous pic of Cucinotta should be allowed in every thread ;)

Definitely! If not for Bond 25, I do hope we get a minor (or major!) character like that in a future Bond film.

Yes, we've been missing some well...rounded characters. Although Bellucci was there, but in mourning blacks, all the way. Too bad, what a waste, yet again.

Agree. Really hoped that her character would feature more. Same with Bérénice Marlohe in SF too!

Bond is alone when we meet him... this gives him time to perhaps be with Ana, once he's on the mission... later in the film, he and madeleine's paths cross again... (Maddy may have some relationship with the missing scientist?)... It's just strange that she's not yet been seen.. or it could just be scheduling and I'm wayyy over-thinking this...

You could be on to something there @peter…
We don't know how big a role Léa Seydoux will have, right? Could be less screen time this time for all we know.

Another possibility is that Lea will be shooting interiors at Pinewood. Perhaps Craig brings home some fish and she makes dinner?

Of course, they might do some at Pinewood as well. Shame if Léa Seydoux was to be be limited to interiors though – especially if those scenes take place in Jamaica.

Ah, an important point. Now you mention it, I'd be fine with Moneypenny 'visiting the field' in this movie assuming she's also dressed for the beach. Hell, get de Armas in there too.

Bérenice was the victim of the worst crime the Bond films have ever made. Talk about showing the prize and then taking it away. She was fantastic and with the promise of being more so.

I agree entirely @Univex. Bérénice Marlohe was and still is the highlight of that movie for me. Bringing this back to B25, let's hope they don't repeat the same mistake again and do a Bérénice with Ana de Armas and kill her off at the midway point.

    That's what I'm afraid of.

I think a lot of us are quietly worried that Armas might be squandered this way @Univex. Let's hope she can avoid the sacrificial lamb trope, unlike poor Bérénice.

Definitely. For me it's like they got rid of Sévérine just as you got to know her. And the film goes downwards for me after this. Don't know how they could have written the story in a way that would allow her more screen time, but it would have been great if they did.

And I share your and @bondsum s concerns about Ana de Armas's character. I hope they don't do the same mistake with her character as they've done already in the Craig era.

There's a good chance one of the three girls will die. I hope it won't be Medeleine.

So we're getting a much better version of DAD with a talented and diverse cast, seemingly interesting characters and plot, with a more realistic and modern James Bond while keeping familiar tropes and classic moments? I'm totally on board.

    I've cracked it. It's called...

Has that grey tee shrunk in the wash since CR? So short!

Would be a brilliant piece of continuity if it's supposed to be the same t-shirt, and if it's even shrunk in the wash!

(Better than the SP continuity too, come to think of it…)

I know I am currently the only one who thinks this but am I really the only person getting a The Hildebrand Rarity vibe off of the photos?

Looks like @Denbigh agrees with me great mind and all that

I get the Hildebrand Rarity as the final Daniel Craig title i will be soooo happy

Didn't they reference the Hildebrand Rarity pretty explicitly in SP at the end. Seems unlikely they'll use it so soon if at all. Can't see the studio agreeing to it.

I have a pretty broad sense of humor and I'm not easily offended. With that said this heavily doctored photo, yes he has pants on in the original, is tacky and not the least bit funny.

Can you tell me who on the crew (not main actors) I can follow on Instagram? I'd appreciate it.

It's because we haven't been to America lately. Hence the lack of the rounded characters.

Most likely this photo already shown on this thread, but here you go anyway.
Just came up when I searched tag #Bond25 on instagram. If anybody can name other crew on Instagram, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

The cigar photos look as though they were taken between scenes. There are a lot of crew around whilst DC is smoking. I'd love it to be part of the scene, however it seems unlikely.

It also seems very likely that Bond is alone in Jamaica. I suppose Madeleine will figure into the story in another way. Did we ever consider the possibility that Madeleine is the kidnapped scientist? I know she's a therapist in SP, but perhaps she has found a new medical calling in the last 5 years......

Whilst he hasn't been posting on Instagram, Cary can be seen in the background of the photos from yesterday:

I think someone mentioned that possibility earlier. Might remember wrong. David Dencik has been rumoured to play that role, but some newspapers reports he'll play a baddie:

"TT have even been in contact with the actor himself, who says he feels honoured to get to play a Bond villain."

Has anyone else considered how similar the plot sounds to The Dark Knight Rises? The opening of that film concerns a kidnapped scientist who is needed to built a bomb?

Why is it so hard to believe that they would show Bond enjoying a cigar? It seems perfectly natural in the environment.

Anybody notice that Bond’s sailing yacht in the Jamaica shots is the same one he had in Casino Royale with Vesper Lynd in Venice, but now with a coat of blue paint on the hull instead of white.

Wonder if she’s called the “Vesper”?
