New from Lashana this morning....................................................doesn't look like Pinewood. Could they be in Norway or the Faroe Islands?

    Gosh what a beautiful sky.

People this could well be Salisbury Plains. Got confirmation off my brother in law who has his own Security and Chauffeur business in London. He is 100% trustworthy, they walk their dogs there, heavy security, a fleet of green golf buggies to transport people, moving through the town of Great Cheverell, they live in Devizes. Was confirmed that NTTD was filming today!

Given the fact that there hasn't been a Bond film for over four years, you'd think that they would want to you know, market it. Get it out there. Being illusive and mysterious is really counterproductive at this point. There less than 6 months to go, even Skyfall and SP had trailers by now, and this is supposed to be Craigs final hurrah. What on earth are they waiting for?
You’ve waited this long mate, you can wait a bit longer :D and are you seriously calling them “counterproductive” when they’ve been working bloody hard on creating a great Bond film.

And we know they’re not taking into account the wait, cause then they would have rushed everything? They’re treating this as any normal production. They’re not focusing on the “delay” as a lot of people here are, unnecessarily because like I’ve said to people before, you’re ruining the experience for yourself.

No rushing. No apologises. Just good old-fashioned movie making.

We had some visitors in our woods this August. Someone made some fine Norwegian style houses? But with blue screen rooves. Maybe they forgot a few scenes from filming in Nittedal, Norway. The last 2 pics are from clips filmed there, so it looks like they were using our local Pinewood for extra shooting.

The teaser and trailer will be released in proper time. Only a couple of movies premiering March-June next year have trailers out, 'Mulan' and 'Top Gun: Maverick', so patience here.

But yes, there has been a lack of marketing so far. Only two production stills and a couple of photo calls. But again... this being Bond, the media has been all over the production, especially in Matera. But during post-production there usually isn't a whole lot to report and talk about (this includes this forum as well), so we depend on them throwing us and the media some bones.

I'll be very surprised if nothing pops up tomorrow, a poster, stills, a teaser, anything really. Only because they have their own Global day. I mean, does any other film franchise have a Global day? So they should use it, right? Besides, how long has it been since Babs told our man Fox that the trailer was good and ready and we wouldn't have to wait for too long? And local Universal representatives have said that tomorrow the title for each country/language will be revealed. How so? In a poster? Oh well, who knows? Still, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

It's gotta be something, I'm sure. We all hope for the teaser, naturally, but the caveat is that it could be 'just' the poster, indeed. We'll see.

To answer your question on films with special days: Star Wars has May the 4th obviously, and major Harry Potter news sometimes drops on July 31st, both Harry's fictional birth day and J.K. Rowling's one. But I can't think of any more.
So as you said, it would be stupid for them not to use it.

But I'm guessing we'll get 007Shop coupons first, followed by contests only open for people from the UK and ROI, like last year.

Yeah, considering the last two times have both featured premieres of the song/music video, I think we'll get something. My guess would be if it's not a trailer then a second BTS video.

To be fair I didn't know anything about Joker until about a couple of weeks ago. But I think you would be hard pressed to not know about it now. Indeed, I'm going to see it tomorrow night. Tolkien, earlier in the year, didn't know anything about it until I saw a trailer for it the week before it came out.

They should already have some official stills correct? Like they did with every Craig film?

I would imagine the Jamaica sequence is already edited and what not. They could definitely give us a picture from that.

I’m definitely expecting one of the following options, a poster, character images or a quick video of Matera filming. We got the Jamaica video which was badass.

I just can’t imagine them NOT releasing anything related to Bond 25/NTTD.

We'll get something, for sure. I just have this ill feeling that it will only be a poster, and they'll hold the trailer until next week since -- we now know -- the plan must be for it to launch with Gemini Man, and not Joker.

Joker is out in the USA. So it would’ve already screened..

Although, would it really be that surprising if they released it tomorrow and then it started playing in theaters? Or a teaser and then the full trailer next week?

They randomly dropped the title announcement video without any notifications. It just dropped.

I was hoping for midnight tonight but I doubt it.

Yeah if I were Eon, I’d take advantage of the day some how but this time around everything seems to be random so I won’t be surprised if nothing drops today. Anyway, folks, Happy Global James Bond Day! (Shanghai time :) )

6 months to go and there isn't any hype at all for the movie.. Marketing department needs to step on it! A poster, a teaser... Something to hype it up at least.....

EON is EON. And currently EON is also Daniel Craig. NTTD is entirely a Daniel Craig vehicle. So EON will do it their way. Doesn't mean that we fans can discuss about how it should be, about how helpful it can be if EON gets into the heads of us fans a bit more.

They might argue that the huge amount of pictures that have been on social media is the hype.

Here's a James Bond day present... Of sorts?
    NOT the teaser

To celebrate James Bond Day, we reveal how Bond 25 translates all around the world. NO TIME TO DIE released April 2020.

"Keep your eyes peeled for exciting James Bond news and watch out for 007 activations running all day on our partners’ social channels."

Surely more to come... That video came just before 7am UK time, chances are still there for something.

If they're filming in and around Salisbury plain, then that could indicate that Porton Down will feature in NTTD.

If they are talking about their partners, rather than their own channel, then I doubt we will get the teaser today. The long delayed new Heineken advert more likely

Just to clarify it’s expectations that are whats getting people frustrated and annoyed, not the production itself so let’s leave them alone yeah. Thank you. Have a great James Bond Day everyone :D
