If they come out with another, I’d like to see Bond in a suit but not a tuxedo with some kind of cultural festivity going on in the background.
Oh, I do remember one of the Spectre posters with the mask. That was cool but I didn’t like the Live and Let Die rip off one at all.
It's a teaser poster. It needs to say: James Bond is back (tuxedo'd Daniel Craig), title, date, and that's it. The fact that it's a kinetic action shot is kind of gravy, and -- as I said before -- I suspect that tells us something about the energy of the film and the way they're going to sell it.
One (perhaps) telling pickup from both this and the title reveal video: they've gone out of their way in both of these official pieces to depict Bond without a gun.
So I am guessing it was on the pinewood set? Is that Cuba?
I’m pretty sure that’s a production still.
That’s obviously a wall behind him. Either Cuba or Jamaica.
At first I thought it was a weird photoshopped background but the full image clearly shows it’s a wall.
Still a weird poster.
Yes, I suppose so. Very curious to know more about that sequence.
Agreed; in the past we've had Bond Day marked by things like "get 10% off a tshirt." I wouldn't expect Christmas.
Second, and I've mentioned this before, I've seen all the movies and read all the books, but I'd never heard of James Bond day until recently. It's perhaps not the marketing lever that superfans think it is.
I'd quibble with this - we might infer that, but it's equally possible that this was simply a photoshoot on set at Pinewood.
Considering Greg Williams took it and they shot the Cuba scenes at pinewood it is probably Cuba..
Cary is too woke for Fleming
Talk about running a tight ship
Superleggera - Norway or Scotland?
That picture is from a promo video.

That'd odd, isn't it? Particularly because we know that they've shot some publicity around it, right?
