I have never been in a helicopter. This video reminds me to continue avoiding them. LOL
Exactly what I was thinking. Hence Fukunaga not mentioning Scotland when asked about locations in the press conference.
Maybe they were planning for Kincade to come back for a surprise appearance.
Max, I’ve got some bad news for you...
I know, a great actor he was.
I know that Albert Finney died earlier this year. That's why I said "were."
Billy Magnussen in Wembley... Is Tim Dalton there too? ;)
Also, the video looks a lot like this photo that Cary and his friend Ameer visited last year in Norway:
I suspect Cary's reasons for scouting have something to do with his directorial style. Read this quote from a New York Times and Guardian profiles written about him:
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/11/magazine/true-detective-director-cary-fukunaga-netflix-maniac.html
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/sep/20/cary-fukunaga-exclusive-interview-new-james-bond-director-netflix-maniac
Considering Fukunaga is the FIRST writer-director of a Bond film (albeit, there have been a few other cooks in the writers' kitchen), this could be more of an auteur Bond film than SF.
YES!!!
Teh hatred of SF with some is yuge.
But I do like this way of thinkin'.
People hate SF? That film is as universally loved as CR. It was the only Bond film that got legit Oscar buzz. Bloody good film.
Also, Ana De Armas posted this on Insta. Is she hinting that she’s flying over to film Bond? It's the only thing on her schedule currently.
I agree with you on this. And I'm happy for it. If it turns out to be a Fukunaga's author film, I'll be fine with it. Happy, even. But I wouldn't want an author film with Boyle at the helm. I'm more appreciative of Fukunaga's style and references than of Boyle's.
No problem with a Bond author film. But it does depend on the author.
The writer of this article claims he's "had some pretty good intelligence" that the Aston Martin AM-RB 003 could be seen in B25, but then he continues on as if it's merely his own speculation. It is also mentioned here twice that the DB5 will return, although I don't remember it being confirmed anywhere that the DB5 in particular will be back, just that AM will provide a new model.
What interests me most though is the claim that "Jaguar Land Rover will continue playing along as the bad guys. It will provide the as-yet-unseen Defender as a villain car".

I guess he is working with the second unit team out there currently......
Also, I'm confused why Cary has gone to Norway. Aside from the case that he may be a control freak and is still seeking the "perfect" location, it seems weird for him to abdanon Pinewood if they are there till June.
The alternative would be that Norway filming is commencing earlier than we thought.
Also, here's a photo that Cary's brother put on Instagram. I think Cary flew his siblings out for the Jamaica filming.
FWIW, Babs doesn't care what you call her as long as you buy a ticket (or five).
Opinions are not facts, Pistolé.
CR punched me in the face; SF pinned me to the ground. :-)
Yes, the hatred of SF is out there. I've never understood it, though I have some theories best reserved for a different thread.
CR is my favourite of the era but Skyfall easily takes the no. 2 spot, yes the hatred for it might not be as much as it seems on here but certain voices shout it very loudly and one in particular can't help but reiterate this in any thread they get the opportunity to.
I believe many of us still do love this film warts and all.
I do love it. I actually have love for the first three, and for some SP parts. I hope the 5th will make me say I love them all and want a 6th.
