  • Stop talking about the teaser : it's pointless (you know NOTHING about it or it's realease date) and it's not the topic for that. All it's does it's give people some hope and disappointements.

Considering that this is a filming thread and filming is essentially completed, save for a few last-minute things at Pinewood, what would you like people to talk about on here? Or maybe the thread should just be locked since it's no longer relevant?

...and as long as the conversatiton remains civil, I think we should be able to talk about the trailers especially when rumours are circulating, whether true or not.

It is, because people couldn´t keep it under control. But as @PDJamesBond mentioned, filming is almost done, so it´s no biggie if this thread will be closed too in a few days, so let the trailer anticipation madness culminate ;-).

Yes, which is another reason why I don't see it being a big problem to talk about it on here.

Possibly, or just she personally has 1 week to go. Maybe she's being released early because her side of things is wrapped, or maybe she has another commitment lined up . . .
Not trying to be contrarian, it just seems dangerous to assume with this production!

Absolutely, I wouldn't think (for the time being at least) this means definitively that the film wraps next week. But it's a sure sign that things are coming to an end. I think the model unit and splinter unit will keep working up to Xmas.

Also..................................@DanielRPK tweeted that the Star Wars IX trailer was coming Monday (something many already reported) but he did also say that a 'teaser for the trailer' (remember those? Eurgh) would land tomorrow hyping the Monday debut and the fact that tickets would come on sale then. So....if something Star Wars IX comes tomorrow, we know that he probably isn't full of sh*t

Seems to me that any material that is the result of filming (released or potentially released) is suitable for this thread. That's why the Jamaica preview was posted here, with no concerns.

Nope. I'm guessing all his scenes were done at Pinewood.

I actually love it when they film the majority at Pinewood, it makes it feel more authentic to the franchise and allows for more creative sets and locations :)
  • Any chance Harris brings a teaser with her to release during Kelly & Ryan?

    Wouldn’t count on it.

Have a feeling we are gonna see a teaser soon.... If not by November at least. Fingers crossed.
  • At the very least, Harris can be counted on to communicate some enthusiasm for the project and ratchet up the excitement a bit.

I have a very hard time believing that they decided to hold off releasing the trailer until December. Are we genuinely supposed to believe that the trailer's been ready for nearly a month, and that the Matera footage was so spectacular that they went back to the editing room, re-configured/reworked the trailer to include the Matera stuff, and decided to delay releasing it until four months before the films release, just to attach it to Star Wars?

I'm not buying it. I'm not saying it's impossible (it certainly wouldn't be the most bizarre thing to happen during this production), but it all seems a little far fetched to me. I fail to understand the logic. As much as it may seem like it, nothing out of the ordinary has happened with regards to the trailer. All this speculation and rumour about its release stems from the fact that we've known it's been ready for a while. They've released the teaser poster, which typically means the teaser will be dropped in a matter of days (or weeks). If we see nothing by the end of the month, then this December rumour may have some credence.

Guys, the sooner you accept that the teaser trailer will not arrive before December, the happier and calmer you will be during the weeks of this month and November.

    2 more months is nothing.

I'm extremely calm, and still don't think we'll have to wait that long.

Would you rather have actual music from the film in the trailer or a piece of music used just for the trailer ie: Casino Royale?

And Spectre (the OHMSS throwback), which I was just thinking about last night and tried to find online. If they use original music for the NTTD trailer I hope they release it for us.

I have no intel or connections to base this on, but I have this strange feeling the trailer's going to use a new recording/mix of Live and Let Die.

Totally baseless speculation. But that OHMSS take in SPECTRE's trailer worked really well, LALD is Craig's first/fave Bond film, and they were apparently going to use it for the Knives Out trailer until it was switched (for some reason?).

I dunno. Just a fun idea.

@jamesbondlive tweets that have aged well - Nr. 849: https://twitter.com/jamesbondlive/status/1184162899389902849

At this point one can trust The Sun more than MI6-HQ.

I was thinking YOLT callback maybe as well if they go a Shatterhand-type route with Malek.
