Guarantee you there is no “segment” tonight about Bond at all. It’ll most likely be Harris fielding questions she’s not allowed to answer.
    Sadly, that's very possible.

Not really NTTD filming, but I came across this tweet today. Looks like it's from the Heineken commercial.

Great find @gt007. Almost looks like a shot from Casino Royale. Dig it, can't wait to see this :)

Another one. Seems like EON inviting the press

Had the pleasure of having colleague @awordwitharamide visit Pinewood Studios for @blackfilm_com as they finished up the final days of production on #NoTimeToDie.
The 25th Bond film will be Daniel Craig’s last turn as 007. She can’t say much now but it until then, enjoy this Aston Martin. #Bond25

I firmly believe there will be a teaser before the December trailer. I actually like the anticipation and wouldn't mind if they skip one and just go for the full thing, if any "tradition" is to be referenced, then we should at least see something by Thanksgiving.

This film should be farewell to Daniel. As much as I like him. It’s time to hang it up. He wanted to after spectre anyway.

    Wrong. Very wrong.

I do hope we’re really in for something special given how cryptic & quiet they’ve been this time around. Also, being the film is so female centric, I hope Bond isn’t taking too much of a backseat.

I don't think he will be. A female centric plot, which I think might be slight exaggeration, can still include our main protagonist. I say slight exaggeration because I think some people's immediate thoughts will be to assume this will be some kind of bold feminist propaganda which is not what this film will be.

It's just a new Daniel Craig James Bond film with female characters (old and new) that have more affect on the plot and are well-written. It also makes sense considering the occasional occurance of Bond girls becoming more like plot devices than driving the plot themselves. Yes we've had some great female characters throughout the franchise but that doesn't mean the franchise hasn't slipped into those unfortunate traps.

I worry about it too but I'm hopeful it will turn out fine. I mean Bond is the main one selling the tickets they can't be stupid.

Could this be Bond-related?? Fresh snap from Pinewwod

Edit: DoP-guy who took the pic plus NTTD second unit wrapped last week so I guess this is a whole other production.

It happens for some productions to have a decoy ending, especially if many people are supposed to be on the set on that day. For instance, in The Empire Strikes Back, the actor playing Vader (whose voice was supposed to be dubbed by James Earl Jones anyway) said that Obi-Wan had killed Luke's father.
The final scene of the second season of 24 was shot with many extras and had a huge cliffhanger with a major character being poisoned. Except that for the extras, the cliffhanger never existed as the character had just briefly collapsed then got back on his feet, and reached his limo. The final seconds were shot with no intention to be part of the edited episode, it was just to trick the extras.

So, it can be done for NTTD. It would just take adding a few lines here and there or a few shots, that make it nearly impossible for anyone on the set to guess how the edited scene would turn out. Or they shot the scene as intended while also shooting two discarded drafts.

Anyway, I'd like this story to be true. It would be interesting to see a good director refining secrecy on a film about a secret agent.
Interesting thought. So basically they wouldn´t even have to shoot several different scenes in order to have three different endings. If the dialogue or action is accordingly, they could create a different ending, depending on where they cut.

The concept of 3 different endings would be brilliant marketing and a great way to drum up hype. Dont need to have 3 shown in the cinema or even released at all. It's about the mystery of it.
They could use it for the trailer: "Three endings were shot for this movie! Will James Bond die? Will he marry and retire? Will he lose his job to a woman? Find out for yourself! Only in cinemas!"

It doesn´t say the film is female-centric. Only that it´s more female-driven than in the past, which doesn´t have to be a big deal. Probably is exaggerated anyhow, since there always were Bond films with a lot of women, or with women with an agenda.

    More from the set visits.....

According to her Instagram, it looks as though Eon got the press to stay at the Savoy and drove them down to Pinewood to watch filming of the Cuba scene.

If you look through her Instagram, you can see that she writes for a progressive Black entertainment magazine. At least from the people uploading images, it seems Eon are targeting younger and hip audiences. Possibly the ‘Lashana Lynch’ factor coming into play..................................

Eon are rarely precious with set visits. So there is a chance we will get something today..........we shall see

The choice of outlets is interesting because when Marvel, Star Wars and other major tentpoles do this they invite the more geek driven blogs like Slashfilm, Collider, io9, IGN and so on...but aside from Mashable, none of that here.

Also have they done an organised set visit in this vein with multiple outlets before?

I think they did on Skyfall, I'm pretty sure a number of outlets visited the Macau casino set and got to see some filming take place

    Naomie's interviews don't help much.

Let's just hope that they are there to actively help Bond and/or have good dialogue, NOT to take his place (at least not for almost the whole film).
  • Much ado about nothing - Skyfall could accurately described as a largely female-driven film.

Where do you read about Savoy and then watching Cuba scenes? There's nada info on her insta, only PWS-pictures (museum-stuff) and some tagging
