Doesn't matter what anyone thinks, because no one knows anything. Which is actually awesome.
I think Skyfall's as well
My favourite Bond film, which happens to be my favourite film of all time as well, has Scottish, German, Polish, French and Dutch actors doing a Russian accent. Fantastically racist that no-one cared about it! :)) :)>-
Fan kudos to you, hook line and sinker, and a bunch of the PP show tickets sold to the gullible.
That out of my system now, I can tell you that I'd like a trailer soon too, but as a fellow Bond fan, I must tell you that no one knows anything. And most of us really like that. We're suckers for surprises. What we don't like is non-surprises, btw, but that should come as a no-surprise to you.
Cheers, PP, keep safe, be happy. And welcome to the waiting game.
You are possibly correct. I think filming wrapped in May 2012 and there was a teaser that same month.
Safin. Good name. Not Irish, huh, reminds me of Taffin.
Greene, I really enjoyed his slimy character. The Kermit the Frog expressions. His voice and dialogue. Eating the apple while "negotiating" with Medrano and the Colonel. The absence of Q & Moneypenny from Casino Royale then Quantum of Solace was a signal to me that the formula would be rebuilt over time. A shifting focus. So I wasn't automatically expecting the global plot, the warrior henchman, the assault on the villain's lair straight up and every time. Like all the Craig Bond films, there's A LOT to relish in Quantum of Solace.
I am expecting Malik's character to be pretty unique and interesting.
Of course not every Bond villain should be like Greene, but not every Bond villain should be like Blofeld or Goldfinger either. Having every villain disfigured is neither interesting nor especially in Fleming´s spirit.
Wether it´s racist or not to let a villain speak with a russian accent depends on the execution I would say. Fleming had a fantastic way of implementing cliches for dramatical purposes. In other writers´ hands I would probably find them outdated or racist, but Fleming manages to paint pictures with beautiful contrasts with them. Don´t see why that shouldn´t be possible in a contemporary film.
What a lovely, lovely way to put it. Couldn't agree more, @boldfinger.
Also, Greene is super slimy and well played. He certainly beats other villains, imo.
I think the closest thing will be Silva but without the humor aspect.
Silva was probably Craig’s best villian imo.
I think, in the photos from the Matera shooting we can see Waltz falling down over a low wall? Or my eyesight is really fading.
Probably not, but the German News magazine DER SPIEGEL did an interview with Danny Boyle on the release of his film YESTERDAY, and they ask him about his departure from Bond, and he said, the main reason for him leaving was, that MGW and BB insisted to bring on a new writer to overhaul Hodge's script. And when they ask him about the Bond film he had in mind, he refused to answer, saying that though he wasn't sworn to msecerecy by EON, he does not want to talök about while Cary Fukunaga was doing Bond 25, and he said "maybe they even might use bits of the script", and that they would be allowed to do so, as they had bought the script and that it belongs to EON right now, only that they would have to credit Hodge either in the opening or in the end credits.
Carlton House Terrace. My office is nearby. They film around there almost every other week for one film or another.
Who is that and why should we consider this a reliable source?
A tit.
Skewered. *lights cigar*
However in this case, the writings in the name.
If SPECTRE is still going after Blofeld has been captured it wouldn't be surprise me if Dr No has taken over. Then Bond or Madeline could interogate Blofeld in order to find out where he is operating or something like that.
If that is the case I'm amazed he became a Bond fan.
They incorrectly state that SPECTRE was supposed to be Craig’s last (of a four picture deal), anyone paying attention knows Craig actually signed on for 3 when Skyfall was in production. With an opt out clause.
It then goes in to suggest that a search for a new Bond started. (It didn’t Craig just wanted time to recharge and have family time and think).
They go on to say that’s it’s “rumoured to have the biggest explosion in cinema history”. Sorry but are people’s memory’s non existent SPECTRE already had the largest explosion in cinema history, there was a whole production video about it and a lot of back patting from Sam Mendes and crew. There has been literally NOTING to suggest this film will have an even bigger explosion in any of the stuff that’s leaked out. I’m sorry Chris Hewitt but this fluff piece of so called “journalism” isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. The only thing if merit was the name Safin being revealed and the photo.
