    Check this out people.

Cuba town-set at Pinewood studios on Google maps. First proper full view of the massive set. The second screenshot I'm not so sure about but it could also be NTTD-related.

The second image isn't Bond, they didn't film in the Paddock Lot area. This shows where they filmed: https://www.pinewoodgroup.com/pinewood-today/credits/no-time-to-die There's also one of those wind tunnel things in the second image which implies sky diving/falling but that must be for a different film too. I also think the helicopter in the 1st image looks a bit like the Black Widow helicopter possibly the right sort of windows at the front and two things on the roof.

When you drove past the studio there was a round looking set you could see from the road that was next to the Cuba set (North Lot) so maybe there is a round structured building in the film but it's not the one in that aerial view.

Glad to see people are raving about Knives Out. Hope this does wonders for NTTD too :)

Yeah, Everything about NNTD looks Spectacular. But one thing Bond fans deserve, is the frequent use & full blast of the Bond theme when Craig does something exceptionally Bondian.

Interesting stuff! I didn’t realise Pinewood said which films used which facilities.

It is interesting, it looks like NTTD took up most of the Northern section of the studio and the two big stages. The detailed list of what filmed where is interesting but the precise details don't go back that far. Also trawling through the list of films is not fun (unless you pick a year, then it's easier), however you can just type the film name after credits/ in the url for other films of interest. (If you're not getting the film you want try sticking -james-bond at the end).

Could you tell us what something "exceptionally" Bondian is according to you?

    :-?

Ok, I used 'Exceptionally Bondian' coz it's the Craig era where strong usage of the bond theme is lacking in action scenes(At least we know why the theme was absent in Casino Royale)It's something that was ever present in the Brosnan era. E.g in The world is not enough when he escapes from the swiss bank, the bond theme is done in such a way that it fits in with Brosnan's gestures & movements. Not saying Craig hasn't done anything exceptional bondian, I just feel he deserves the full blown bond theme in his action scenes in NTTD. Who knows? Maybe if the bond theme was used fully in SPECTRE during the Rome car chase, it would have gone well with Craig's serious gestures to match with his slick driving of the Aston Martin even if the car chase wasn't as gritty as the one in Quantum Of Solace. Oh, and I correct myself with my previous No Time To Die Abbreviation....my mistake

Indeed, this does look like that mask.

And we already know that he "won't look like his usual" self...

    Hmm...

I'm 99,9% certain that is from the Papillon remake which had a couple dream sequences with Malek as a Pantomime.

I only watched it a month ago.

Is it possible to work out which films were shooting at the same time?

That would have a pretty ballsy move to present their villain like that. It was a cool possibilty while it lasted.

I know that Black Widow was the film with the biggest overlap of filming time as NTTD but oddly that isn't even currently listed on the Pinewood website which is a bit strange. Black Widow finished filming before NTTD so I would guess that the aerial photos are from early on during filming (May/June/July) especially as the round thing you could see from the road was there in August till possibly the end, can't really remember.

I wouldn’t want a score using the Bond theme the way Arnold did in those Brosnan era scores, especially TND. It was way overused. However, I do think at least one action sequence could use the Bond theme, but only that one time. I’d prefer composers keep working on newer material, especially to flesh out the title song.

Yeah, true....weaving the title song into the score is also a very bondian thing

The main thing though is for NTTD to join the pantheon of great bond films. And it's looking that way.

Exactly my thoughts! Arnold is undoubtly very talented composer, but his Brosnan-era scores were pretty lazy IMO. Overusing Bond theme in that period was so tiring for me. However, forcing him to avoid that in Casino Royale resulted in great, fresh and classy soundtrack. CR also proved that great Bond soundtrack can be achieved with almost no Bond theme.

Thank God that's not Safin's look, I don't want this Bond to be another parody movie.

My feelings exactly. Besides, we've had too much clowns this year with IT and Joker. Enough is enough. I want some originality.
