I just remember how bad the situation was in the USA in April. Yet it is currently worse in July than it was in April. And it set to be even worse in August than it currently is. But no worries! The pandemic will magically disappear on November 1st.

Gov. Cuomo is directly responsible for tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths due to his policy of sending Covid patients back to nursing homes while still infected. There are massive lawsuits pending due to this. He locked down way too late and NY still has the most deaths out of any state, although Texas and Florida are rapidly catching up.
The sharp drop off in deaths/cases in NYC is due to mass mask-wearing over anything else. Florida, Texas, and Arizona do not have this figured out which is why it will likely be so much worse there and will soon spread to other states.

As an American, I would be as sad as anyone to miss seeing it in theaters, but it would be a shame if it was kept from Bond fans around the world as a result of our idiocy.
NYC is also the most populous city. That has a lot to do with it.

There is A WHOLE DEDICATED THREAD right here (https://www.mi6community.com/discussion/18761/no-time-to-die-at-the-box-office-in-2020#latest) for all the people who want to yell at each other about the release dates and the pandemic, so please use that. I am sick of logging on and going through the spoiler thread for new information only to find pages and pages of people yelling at each other over this goddamn pandemic or the release date.
ALL OF US are suffering under this pandemic and its restrictions right now, and it is exhausting for people trying to take a break and look for information on their favorite franchise's upcoming movie only to be swarmed by more of this from inconsiderate users who don't understand what is a proper post for the proper thread. Sure, this may mean posts on the spoiler channel come in only once a week or even stop for a while, but we can all agree a quality post is far superior to constant irrelevant, low quality posts.
Out of the goodness of all of your hearts, and for the sake of everyone's sanity, move the damn pandemic/release date talk to the right channel!

Yeah, Zimmer's involvement is a huge reason my interest in NTTD went a Notch higher. Two tracks from him.....5mins each would go a long way.
It's damn irritating with all the corona crap in this thread. And yes, we need moderation to remove all those posts and/or maybe hand out warnings or something.
On Topic: I have befriended several crew members via my Insta and Twitter (they're active followers) and some of them are nice enough sharing info, not plot spoilers of course, but more like tech stuff, their own stills/footage, anecdotes from the shoot, etc.
And hopefully we'll also get a bunch of cool inside stills from one person who was also in front of the camera in several scenes ;)

And the point is? It's still corona/delay talk, and not spoiler talk. Just because I don't want to see it here doesn't mean I'm ignorant to it. I'm not here saying suppress the information, I'm saying keep it in the appropriate place. Talk and discuss all you want in the appropriate thread, but don't come here and clog the spoiler thread.

Agreed. But it seems the world is divided into two types of people, the doomers who believe the world is collapsing and humanity is about to go extinct and those who deny the existence of the virus itself. If you try to be balanced you will immediately be associated with one of the two factions (though most of the times the doomers are the ones who aren't willing to accept other points of view, which is ironic considering they claim have a boner for "science").
