Yes, which is why Amazon may want Bond 26, 27 etc with a narrow theatrical release run then straight onto Amazon Prime. This may be one of the big obstacles preventing Eon wanting to do business with Amazon.

So far none of the reporting about the Amazon/EON friction has suggested this (the Wall Street Journal reiterated that Amazon agreed during the MGM sale to continue giving Bond proper theatrical releases), and the recent news about Amazon MGM looking to handle international theatrical distribution of their films themselves seems to be yet more cold water on this theory in my eyes.

They even released Red One in theaters.

My fear is that EON are using CCBB as a testing ground to see how the relationship with Amazon will work in practice e.i. we won't see any movement on Bond until that project is completed successfully.

Ideally EON will be drafting a script for Bond 26 in tandem with production on CCBB happening.

God knows, mate - whole thing seems mental, eh! He's elaborated further now, though:

    What a moron.

The worst kind. An attention seeker...

Awful. Good inspiration for a Bond villain though I suppose.

I hate to admit it, but I saw it in theatres. Wish I hadn't, but that's how things go, I suppose.

I suspect this is the case ref CCBB, but that should have a much smoother and quicker development given it is an adaptation of the existing book and film. They're just updating something that already exists. Plus I believe they've already announced the director and writer for it.
