Pretty certain it's not the right answer but I'll try all the same: Louis Armstrong ?
  • Oh I think I'm stretching this but...

    seen-jim-sss-might?

Huh? You aren't stretching anything. You've got the right answer, @Some_Kind_Of_Hero!

You win a dotty old aunt.
  • Awesome! A dotty old aunt will definitely fill the void of the breakdancing ants I've had to part with. (They're in the mail, by the way.)

I'll have a new one up in a jiff!

Very good, @RichardTheBruce! That's the motto we're after.

    The "no" is noh theater.

The lion is the logo of ING Investments for "Liv-ING."

The painting is of course a depiction of the Canticle of Simeon. Canticle commonly being shortened to "cant." on sheet music. I was afraid this was going to be the dead giveaway.

Entrance fee combined with the "L" of "LA" for "feel," and you've nicely decoded the rest.

    Over to you!

Yes I especially like the Noh connection, @Some_Kind_Of_Hero, though I failed in spelling it.

I have a three-fer. To keep things moving here are the protocols:
    • Open to anyone, answer 1 or 2 or all 3.
    • Whoever answers the third and final Rebus can offer a new one up. Or ask the audience for one.

I think that # 3 is "Backseat driver."

Good on that one, @Dragonpol. Classic Rebus, I thought this would be the hardest of the three.

So the other two are open to yourself and the audience to solve.

    It's #2 that's proving to be a challenge.

There you go, @QBranch, correct on both.

    Do you have something ready?

Sooo, I recognize the famous Kanagawa painting "The Great Wave", with Mt. Fuji in the distance. And the weight symbol.

Not familiar with the first illustration.

I thought this one would be pretty easy. It follows my previous rebuses in that there are no tricks on display. It's just a case of "say what you see" and then putting it together from there. It's more about what the images depict than who created them specifically.

I must pass the shoe. I hope you'll forgive me, but it's most important.

    Nicely done @Dragonpol and @mattjoes. Also Mill-ton wave-crest.

I have these ready, same rules: open to solve one, two or all three.

The solver of the final of three can offer a new one or pass the shoe.

Yes, yes, and yes @Dragonpol. And you made a correction/improvement to M's dialogue with "on then" which I didn't represent so accurately.
    • "Ir"-on-Curtain.
    • "When"-in-Eg____ypt
    • Go (signal) on then, eject (symbol) mi. "C" "F" I Care (logo).

Also apologies are in order: I used Iron Curtain previously on Page 8.

    Are you ready with another?

    Thanks, @RichardTheBruce.

Yes, I first wrote it as "Go ahead..." but then checked online and saw that wasn't the line so I had to change it!

I'll rustle a new one up soon.
