It's incredibly refreshing all the time around these parts.
Actually, I suspect GG wants to outshine the NTTD Premiere and release on the same day. 🙂
This evening I will do the last check-up and tomorrow we will have our first reveal.
See you then!
Woohoo! Can't wait!
We'll most likely be discussing some of my favorite villains before the weekend is even here! :))
I'm ready for the first reveal. Will it be again a NSNA starter?
WOODY ALLEN
as Dr. Noah / Jimmy Bond
in CASINO ROYALE
Nothing shocking here, Dr. Noah's best score was one 18th place. One other member did not include it in the bottom 5, though it came close with a 21st place.
Five penultimate places and fourteen bottom finishes say a lot. Jimmy Bond might be performed by a great actor, as far as the Bond films are concerned, he's not a fan favourite.
In total Dr. Noah received 36 points.
By far the lowest of them all, though still a considerbly better score than the bottom choice in our last game, NSNA's original music.
Whoa! 006 was at the bottom for me too! But I hope to see Max get into the teens...
Someone should send his PR reps a note that he finished last in a Bond villain ranking game.
Jimmy Bond’s “plot” actually is kind of cool: the creation of a world in which all women are beautiful and all men over 4 foot 6-inches are killed – leaving him as the world’s most desirable man.
And since we already have the lovely Daliah Lavi (see above), I can see where this plot makes perfect sense!
:))
In a rather unsurprising turn, this appears to be:
TOBY STEPHENS
as Gustav Graves
in DIE ANOTHER DAY
The best ranking for DAD's baddie was one 15th place. Graves turned up in four more top 20's, but his fate was ultimately sealed with seventeen bottom 5's, two of those were last places and seven were second to last.
In total Gustav Graves acquired 56 points.
Enjoy Woodys role for CR, but the fact its not a proper Bond movie and a spoof sealed his fate!
Easier to put Graves in next position, godawful, all the sneering in the world cant save him,"Meet reality, Gustav!"
Gustav Graves finished 25th for me so I wasn't far off the mark. I think he did the best he could with the material he was given. Plus, he was one of the best physical matches for Bond, much more than some of the other main baddies on the list. However, he overplays it at times and it becomes annoying, much like the film itself.
Agreed, although I put him lower than that, at 18. Not great, but certainly fun enough.
bad performance vs disappointed in Waltz's take on the character.
But yeah, Gustav isn't exactly my favourite villain either. It doesn't help that technically, he's another guy with an extreme makeover. Toby is not a bad actor, but he couldn't possibly have elevated the part to something better than what P&W had dribbled on paper.
Even more controversial: I had Blofeld (SP) even lower than that. That film has almost nothing on offer for me, the performances especially.
