Get idea we missing scenes in Italy and Jamaica / Cuba. The Umbrella and spots (A Night / Evening scene in Jamacia with motorbikes on the background when Bond walking to other side of street) what i name it earlier is not in the movie.

    Earlier post in 2019:

    ''Sunny Skyfall''

''The spots and Umbrella''' (playing with three spots of gunbarrel & the light and possible intro of the villian. )

''Walk a way from a palm tree''.

From scene's in Italy i miss more romance walking scene's between Madeline and Bond. Some of them we have seen on pictures, but if i remember correctly there is also scene in one of trailers with Blofeld voice over it with difrent angle of light. I know the movie is almoost 164 minutes, but stil.

Keep in mind, i have seen movie once last Sunday. And if you ask me we missing much more, because of lack of story and plot partly turn out a lot difrent then i expect.

The thing with those shots from the behind the scenes in Jamaica, is that they easily could just be shots of Craig walking round on set.

Is someone have this image of the James Bond Archives in better quality for the encyclopédia ? :

I’m still butthurt over the harpoon being switched out for the pistol, it’s probably the saddest part of the film :))

I spent crazy money on that spear gun - I hope it's at least seen on the jetty.

    Not seen this one before.

Would make Bond’s comment about Q’s cats even better.

So many wasted brilliant shots from that scene. The cat one, Bond smoking a cigar, Bond entering his house with the harpoon gun, ...

But I'd have the entire film set there.

Actually, in the film we hardly see the Bond's house set. No shot where you can see it entirely. Too bad considering the work done to build it.

I have more problems with that than with the film's ending :(

I kept waiting for a moment where Bond smoked Felix's cigar and was upset when it never came.

We lost some potentially classic images when they replaced the speargun. I hate that word 'iconic', but...

Did they shoot it both ways? Or is it a deleted moment before he switches to the gun.

My guessing is: While Bond feeding the cat he hears something. He takes the speargun and goes into the living area. There he takes the weapon and goes into the sleeping area where he finds the cigar (as seen in the movie).

Secret deleted scene: Bond jokes about another kid in the house. In reality, the babysitter was picking up: James Bond Jr. He evaded the chaos, and will be the next Bond. Time jump. Yes, Mathilde has a twin brother. The movie title of NTTD could have been: All In the Bond Family. Wow. Just think, what could have been if JBJr was in the film.

This would have escalated it to a solid 12/10 for me. ;)

They cut my favorite shot of the film:

Plus this was cut as well...

I can't believe they cut that top shot. It's incredible.

That bottom shot has a very Ken Adam Dr. No design in the ceiling.

I love the vibe of the Jamaica scenes, I just wish we spent more time there and less in London. Particularly given how much a big deal they made out of the set they were constructing at the launch event in April 2019

The shot of Bond with the harpoon, calls back to that great shot of Bond with the machine gun at Mr White's home at the end of Casino. Such a wasted opportunity

Do we have any pictures of any cut scenes from the rest of the film? Or is it mainly Jamaica?

Yes, indeed. Given the already epic length of the film, another few minutes in Jamaica wouldn't've hurt it at all. Quite the contrary. Fukunaga said he wanted to show Bond in Jamaica as a solitary, isolated figure without any friends - there's so much potential there for some brooding, dialogue-free neo-noir!

I may be in the minority here, but I do think that Bond taking the pistol instead of the harpoon gun was perfectly logical. If you don't know how many opoonets you're going to face, it is better to take a weapon that can deliver a good ammo of bullets in a minimum of time rather than a one-shot weapon that takes some time to reload. Remember Crécy ?

Assume he wouldn’t have gun on boat so walking in with a speargun makes more sense to me, but if you show a speargun, I want to see him spear someone…. So I’m guessing that’s why they took it out

For no apparent reason, as the original line sounded very cool.

Wasn't there a certain Aston Martin model scene cut from the final movie too?

    Safin's car?

    The Valhalla.

Originally filmed in Scotland (where Nomi approaches Bond after the forest scene) but was digitally replaced by the DBS Superlegerra.

Are we sure it was CG replaced? Maybe they reshot the scene. The DBS was 100% used on set at the RAF airport scene.

Yep, for the initial scene. By time the came to shoot the RAF scene, the decision to change had probably been made already.

The DBS was a late addition to replace the Valhalla which was slightly incongruous driving down the rough forestry tracks. Again, driven by the Weightshift AI suspension, we matched the DBS to the footprint of the Valkyrie, meaning for the most part the dust kicks could be retained from the plate, and the new CG DBS placed on top. We used Nomi and Bond plates from other scenes to add the driver and passenger for head on shots. It is a much larger vehicle with bigger windows, so we had to rebuild parts of Nomi’s costume and hands for when she is photographed in close-up through the open window. The paint and finish on the car were extremely complex. The ‘flop’ effect produces very different colours depending on the angle to camera.
