3 years at the earliest and 5-6 years at the latest before the Bond 26 Title is revealed ?

I'd say the earliest a title reveal, if they really were going for it quick (and they're not), would be even as soon as 30 months.

I think the new owners - even with the Family folks still directly in charge - will provide funding for, and urge (strongly) for less time between films, so as to get more mileage, so to speak, out of the primary role players before they age out or it's time to change things up.

That being the case...How about: No Time to Dilly-Dally ?

Whatever they choose I hope they go generic and call it "James Bond" or "007". I hope they continue to give us a proper title

I guess the laugh-generating Shatterhand title - Students ! Settle down !!! - which never bothered me when Fleming wrote it - won't come round soon. We just had Blofeld in two films in a row, and the story and Dr No-ish character in NTTD also had a few YOLT threads in its tapestry. So, we won't be seeing all that again soon, methinks. Perhaps someday they'll produce the string of Blofeld stories anew, with the YOLT segment going more true to the book this time. Problem: OHMSS already was filmed quite true to the book, and TMWTGG DOES call for deviating from the book. As written, there's not a lot there for a 2-hour movie.

    James Bond: Resurrections

As for unimaginative, but possible options, they could go with "The Secret Agent" or "Number 007" from the CR novel, "The High Table" could be interesting if they find a plot hook for it, as could "The Nature of Evil".

Looking at the chapter list, I personally would love "Pink Lights and Champagne" or "The Deadly Tube" ^^

How about "SilverHeart" or "Rose Of Lies"?

I like Silverheart. 'Heart' definitely feels like a Bondy word.

Bullet to the Heart I've not checked whether used before for some other film. As for whether a title has been used for a book that seems even more likely to have occurred and, therefore, harder to avoid. Not very original, though...Now, since I don't stay serious for too long, how about: Silent But Deadly (Silent Butt Deadly ?)
Actually, I think sooner or later they will use one of the remaining Originals, though used for a bit in OP: Property of a Lady

Your comment brought to mind the segment - in TSWLM ? - wherein Bond rides with F Leiter in a Studillac - a Studebaker with a Cadillac engine, so as to GO. FAST. And THAT brought to mind that the film producers missed the opportunity - what with their promotional contracts - to put Bond in a Studebaker Avanti, a car ahead of its time. The company already was on the wane, but that car...wow. If they make a period film set in the early 60s - doubtful, per producer statements - or put Bond in classic car while in the US, put him in an Avanti !

I'd like those too - particularly Blood and Thunder and The Death Collector - but one of these titles first.

Blood and Thunder would have to be BIG, and SPECTACULAR ! Not due to the word THUNDER being in the title TB, but a film entitled Blood and Thunder should be Impressive ! In other words - not a comparatively lowkey one like FRWL, but a big wild one like TB. (Love 'em both, btw)

Using 'thunder' again in a Bond film title isn't a big deal, considering how often they've used 'die', 'live' or 'kill'.

Yes, one day! That one's a favorite of mine out of the chapter titles.

Sadly, I think it's too close to the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder to be in contention in the nearer future.

MGM Amazon and Warner cast Ernst Stavro, (Grant) father of Bond step brother Ernst Stavro Blofeld for Ernst Stavro. I consider grantfather because idea be that be generation movie.
