Time for me to read about this movie again. I'm now curious to revisit Graham Lord's book on Niven and see what they say about this one.

Very nice. I'm just gonna drop this one here. It's one of my favorite photos out of all the movies.

I kind of dig the shorter hair they gave Brosnan in this film. Would’ve preferred if they kept the top a tad bit longer, but it still suits him.

I have to say, this little selection of Pierce and Desmond are some of my favourite of all the behind the scenes / promo shots.
It's clear both were having a lot of fun, and enjoyed working with each other.

Wow oh wow, those shots are fantastic. I always appreciated the on-screen chemistry between the two. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read years ago that Llewelyn said Brosnan was his favorite Bond to work with.

It's a shame they hadn't started that thing of getting the stuntmen to wear rubber masks so they look like the stars by then: the boat chase in TWINE does have a few shots where you can see that slightly spam-headed stunt driver in the Q Boat and even from a distance he's not a good match for Brosnan. Bros has such a distinctive hairline with his big widow's peak that even if they'd given him a wig which matched Pierce it would have helped a lot.

I'm not saying he wasn't, but to be fair that would have been while he was still working with him, and you're hardly going to say 'oh I much preferred working with the previous guy' when you're promoting a multi-million dollar movie! :D

I wasn't questioning the validity of his opinion, just mentioning I thought that was one of the more definitive responses he gave in the past about his favorite Bond to work with.

I did always feel the two shared a warmth on screen I didn't see so consistently in the other eras.

I’ve seen in old interviews, Desmond mention he was very fond of Roger Moore.
Despite Rogers love of practical jokes, it’s often said by his co-stars, he was great to work with.

I think this was Brosnan at his best looking and most self-assured. He just oozes Bond! Third time was definitely the charm. Maybe not the film but Brosnan himself just inhabited the role so well by this point. Some of that boyishness that we saw in GE (and even a bit in TND) is gone here and he’s finally looking like a suave seasoned agent with a more manly look to him and a bit of a harder edge. Did I mention he was at his peak looks-wise here? ;)

why isnt Pierce Brosnan riding the bike ala Tom Cruise？ Said with tongue firmly in cheek！

I also think the photos with the red tie are also from DAD. Brosnan has a fuller face than in the photos with the blue tie.

Seeing a couple of those shots reminds me of the one of Brosnan smiling and taking in the view on the snowy mountaintop in a BTS shot from TWINE. It's stood out to me over the years, as random as it is.

He’s the only other Bond (besides Dalton, who’s never been married), not to get a divorce. Hopefully, it’ll stay that way for him.
