It could be, but I'm not as fastidious as you in correcting people of their mistakes.
If it even is one.
It is from TB. At least according to these sources.

"Retired Lt. Col. Charles Russhon, military adviser to the James Bond films in the ‘60s and ‘70s, poses with Sean Connery during the production of “Thunderball.” Russhon took Connery in tow when he arrived in New York, and they remained friends until Russhon passed away in 1982, Russhon’s wife, Claire Russhon, said. You're probably right. Sorry about that.
No need to apologize @Dwayne
It's not always easy to know what film some of these pictures are from. Mr. Russhon worked a lot on the early films behind the scenes, so it's an easy mistake to make.
Some of the highlights - but there are dozens more, if you search:
Oh I wasn't trying to correct you: sorry if it came over that way. It's just more that spotting Sean's hairpieces is a tragic hobby of mine! :))
And Russhon (must've been a tough name to have in the USAF at that time!) did work on GF so it's still a very interesting story, thank you.
I like this one :D
Classic. I often walk on the street with that expression on my face.

Considering she was 67 at the time, that's actually a compliment! :)
Yes, I missed that. I just looked at the pictures without reading your post first. Granted, in that case she looked quite marvelous, and I should know, being about the same age. I wondered what had happened to her in 1964 since it really looked like those pictures were taken during filming.
I truly enjoy searching for these images. Often I think, I'll do a few more and then stop. Before realising another hour has passed.
This was the film that got Connery into golf as a sport. He would play often through out the rest of his life. So it is possible that he was showing off a move. Interesting that you can see the blue screens which I am guessing was for the back projection of Miami? Or a way to light the set?
