Man, all the Japanese Bond posters I have seen have been absolutely breathtaking; pieces of art all on their own.

Agree, but shame about the titles.

Interesting little insight into GE,which apparantly had the largest amount of miniature work ever in a James Bond film. 1995 :

Certainly have to pat the backs of those that worked on the miniatures for GE; they look so life-like.

James Bond 50th Anniversary poster from 2012 by Empire Design. The gun featured was originally used by Roger Moore :

To be fair though. they could've hardly used any images from OP as they had only just commence filming.

Usually they are already filming to allow shots or artwork of the film to be shown on the poster.
This must have been a VERY early one to come out, possibly trying to get one up on NSNA,which would make sense.

Production for OP began at Checkpoint Charlie so I think the poster was knocked up to indicate the fact. A proper teaser wasn't released until months later.

Actually it does say that on the poster, that photography has started at CP ,to be followed by filming etc etc .

Dr No is stylish. Silva looks like an emo .

And I get the goofy grin on Dalton for once. I would probably be the same.

As I'm on a bit of a Lazenby high after our meeting on the weekend, decided to dig up a few from the gallery of George.

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking that. Just look at his ID for further proof!

Speaking of his style, after seeing that picture, part of me feels like he's going to don that cardigan once again when he's in the lab.

Yes, I think they'll stick with something like this kind of "preppy" image.
