Cheers, @barryt007. I have moments where I get sidetracked looking at photos and they're so cool I feel an insatiable desire to share them, then those photos lead to others, and those lead to other ones, and on and on.

I've got some great Thunderball international posters to share soon, which I'll do once I rewatch it for the Bondathon.

Just get as many unusual photos as u see them,its important we get them away from the main internet where they can be deleted forever at any time..you are doing a sterling job...and you know i am TB 's biggest defender so i cant WAIT for those !!

Of course, often the screen test is the actor's worst performance in the part due to fear, nervousness, and basically the overall rushed look of the scene. It's like a very rough draft. I imagine had Brolin secured the part and ended up playing Bond in OP, there would have been a solid decision on what to do with his accent, and he'd have had time to work on it before filming.
That said, I think the Brolin screen tests are a hoot, and still pretty cool. The Vijay/Brolin one is interesting as it shows him in similar attire to what Roger would eventually wear in the finished scene. In the interview he mentions Cubby took him to get his haircut for the test. It's length is similar to Moore's at that time (Roger has more spray, though), as well as Tim's and Pierce's. Make's me wonder if Cubby were alive and producing the films today, would he take potential Bonds to get a Craig style haircut for a screen test?
What I wouldn't give to actually see Pierce's Daylights test, and Danny's Casino test!

I hope we someday get to see Dan's screen tests. All we've got are random shots of them, and it's tantalizing that they're out there somewhere, unwatched by fans.

It was horrible I agree. The accent (American), the acting (wooden) and the (lack of) charm and screen presence. He's trying be like Moore, but Moore has sophistication and suaveness (naturally). Brolin's audition is a shower of s***!

Simmons/Connery and Lazenby were in suit and tie, and Moore's first few were also the same.

I like the suit for the gun barrel.

I don't have a problem with either the more formal black tie or alternatively a suit. However, if it's the latter, I'd prefer if it was a darker one, which has traditionally been the case. Craig's grey outfit (in SF was it?) was just too much of a departure for me.
