I find the picture quite mysterious since everybody claims he has never spoken to Saltzman and dating back to 1966 (when YOLT was filming), he'd stop acting if he ever saw him on the set. Have they made up here or something?

Second thing I found tedious to comprehend was that Connery saw Broccoli as a villain. I thought his argument was with Saltzman, not Broccoli. Or maybe I should get into reading Some Kind of Hero as soon as I get a copy of it.

Well the film,i would say,is definitely DAF,so I would think it was a 'polite' situation,as Saltzman needed to keep Connery happy,and Connery had just banked $1m.
(Although he gave that to the Scottish charity).

This is why I asked the question, because it looks like a slightly older Connery, definitely post Goldfinger, by which time as has been said his relationship with Harry was strained.

But then, strained and no contact whatsoever are different things, and one photo capturing a moment in time doesn't really tell the full story. As Barry says Connery was perhaps about to lamp him.

You can usually identify a Bond film by the look of the actor, but in this case it's far more difficult to pin it down.

Excellent finds. Thank you @Superintendent. It's clear how intense Dalton was as Bond from those photos, and also clear how comfortable in their skin Moore, Connery and Laz were. Finally, Connery was just so darn cool.

It looks like they had Pierce and who I think was Maryam d'Abo recreate the scene between Bond and Tracy in the hotel after Bond bails her out at the card tables. I only say that by how Pierce seems prepared to grab that gun as George had.

Yeah that looks like the most likely scene, although I was always under the impression that they usually did the FRWL scene where Bond encounters Tatiana for the screen tests. Really hope more footage of these tests are released eventually, especially Craig's one where he has much longer hair.
