I'm just giving people the choice they want. Hobson's choice in this case. ;)

What color do you associate each Bond film with? I don't have an answer for all films, but...

    GF: Gold
    TB: Blue
    YOLT: Grey and red
    OHMSS: Purple
    LALD: Red
    TMWTGG: Purple
    TSWLM: Grey and cyan
    OP: Red
    TND: Red and black
    DAD: Blue
    SP: Yellow

Some of my choices come from the title sequences, while other choices come from other parts of each film.

    Dr. No - Brown
    GF - Gold
    TB - Green
    YOLT - Red
    OHMSS - Blue
    DAF - Red
    TMWTGG - Yellow
    TSWLM - White
    MR - Black and Blue
    OP - Orange
    TLD - Green
    GE - Red and Yellow
    DAD - Blue
    CR - Yellow
    QoS - Green and Yellow
    SF - Green
    SP - Yellow
NTTD - Teal (Blue and Green)
Interesting to see the similarities and differences.

I have noticed there has been a courtroom case between Depp and his ex, but have no idea what it was about. Doesn t interest me in the slightest.

    It's a less prestigious variation.

I think I'd like to know a little more about the MI6 Community conspiracy. What about the bribes to win the caption contest threads? And EON Productions using the "Who should/could be a Bond actor?" thread for market research? What about the bot accounts being used for secretly brainwashing people into loving Spectre and Die Another Day? I will not rest until the truth is reveal--

There is no conspiracy whatsoever. Nothing shady is going on at all-- no bribes, no market research, no brainwashing. My remarks had no basis in fact and were completely out of place. My apologies. I'll now go on to be a happy and productive member of the MI6 Community.

The previous statement is made of my own volition, with no coercing of any kind.

I'm cursing our network (internet) provider here, it's so terribly slow that it already affects my browsing and my participation here, it's malfunctioning already, if we can just get a better ISP provider. 😓
I'm just signing out for now, I need to fix this.

It sounds like my old ISP before I moved about half an hour up the road. Now it's mostly fantastic, can't believe Internet can be this consistent in its speeds. Hope you get yours sorted soon enough.

It'd be fun to see these compared to the actual color that's most dominant throughout each film, however one could measure such a thing.

I imagine Goldfinger would be the one film most people would associate with the same color.

I was going to say finger, but purple does make more sense since it's a color.

I’ve long associated colors with things too, like the Bond movies. I think a lot of these are associated with the special edition DVD covers which I love a lot.

    DN - Light Green
FRWL - Medium / Dark Red
    GF - Yellow / Gold
TB - Dark Blue (The most obvious association. Blue Razz Bond.)
YOLT - Medium / Light Blue
    OHMSS - Purple
    DAF - Orange / Gold
    LALD - Red (any shade)
    TMWTGG - Orange / Gold / Brown
    TSWLM - Dark Blue
    MR - Green (any shade)
FYEO - Orange / Light Red / Brown
    OP - Yellow / Brown
    AVTAK - Light Blue
    TLD - Orange / Brown
    LTK - Blue / Gray
    GE - Yellow / Red
    TND - Silver / White
TWINE - Dark Blue / White / Black
DAD - White / Light Blue
    CR - Silver
    QOS - Tan
SF - Light Blue / Red
    SP - Yellow / Gold
    NTTD - Teal / Black / White

Someone on reddit posted his own timeline of Bond films, I've kept the username for his/her own privacy.
    Does anyone agree with this?

Goldfinger is referenced in OHMSS so it should come before it, and Zukovsky as well as M means TWINE has to come after GE.
  • Funny how the only two significant changes they've made apart from front-loading the lineup with CR and QOS clash with what little internal continuity there is in the films (GF and TWINE).

I've attempted to come up with alternate chronologies of the series, but by separating all of the films into two different timelines, one that takes a "lighter," more fantastical approach and one with a more tragic, more serious approach, though that's perhaps oversimplifying it given some of the films that end up in either timeline. It resolves a lot of the Blofeld continuity problems and the doubling up of TB and NSNA with one version of the story going to either timeline, but it's still a work in progress.

Do we have Fleming/Novel Tournament yet?
I'd like to have that game where we clash those books against each other.
And the book who will win that round needs to fight another book, to see which Book is the strongest.
Like that of survival of the fittest.

Christopher Reeve was increasingly bothered by the fact he only got to wear the upper half of his costume in close-up shots. When it was explained to him that they couldn't afford to damage the other half of the costume, because this was a Cannon Group production, he didn't take the news very well.
