Thank you. @Fire_and_Ice_Returns. It's much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your kind words, @Thunderfinger. You are an indispensable part of the site. I had totally forgotten this date is also your birthday so let me wish you a very Happy Birthday! I haven't seen that pesky @Dragonpol2 around here for a while. Not sure what happened to him...
Thanks very much, @Benny. You are of course one of the mods/admins that keep things running smoothly here that I mentioned in my post above. Your service and that of the other mods is much appreciated by us all. :)
Thanks, @QBranch. There's a John Gardner book for any occasion! :)
Great, this calls for a celebration.
Cheers good choice, I was looking for James Bond 10th Anniversary memorabilia and found this LP...
This has given me an idea for some art work.
Congratulations on a perfect 10 years, @Fire_and_Ice_Returns!
Thank you @QBranch, I like what you did there lol
Yes, it does when you're having fun. My own decade here comes at the end of the year.
I have been on AJB longer than here, i must make more of an effort to go on there.
Happy Birthday @barryt007 you are missed.
Me too. On 14 January I celebrated my 19th year on AJB. Been a member since 2003 though I was away for a few years before returning again in 2012.
@barryt007 is certainly missed.
Dearly miss @barry007. Had many a giggle with him as probably most of you did. Thinking of you my very funny friend.
Have a good one.
I've been on this forum since like, 2012? And reading it for years. In recent years I have gone under a few aliases... usually when the new Bond movies are hitting their production stages and real information starts to flow... and secrets need to be kept...
I am sporadically in the know, but usually no cleverer or knowledgeable than any of you. I think I will exist here as LucknFate indefinitely, unless my cover gets blown...
But I figure a few fun facts about me for those who see it now can't hurt:
I have been on a Bond set.
I have driven screen-used Bond cars.
I have met and interviewed Lee Morrison and Mark Higgins... and one time Alexander Witt and Kt Yunus woke me up from a nap to warn me about ticks.
That all sounds very mysterious...
;)
Intriguing.
We most certainly do. We have people everywhere.
I will cash out in a tell all and sell some prints of the Valhalla I shot soon enough. Apologies for multiple accounts, I mainly got lost and then wanted to have more fun without my name everywhere all the time.
Also my former employer killed support of certain online facilities, so my 2014-era "work" is now lost to wayback machine for anyone who knows what to look for.
Bond stuff doesn't always do well in my circles, so I'll start throwing MI6 bones on pitches that get passed over elsewhere. Usernames are fleeting; IPs are forever.
side note: has anyone else enjoyed the spoonerism of my username?
I'll try to be more help than not.
I took it for something else, @LucknFate.
It's the yin and yang of Bondism.
Yes, F*cknLate was a happy coincidence after I was inspired by the movie quote.
Everyone needs a @FreshStartos every now and then. ;)
