SP above all of them? That IS controversial.
(Vesper tries to shut down Bond with an invented claim about religion. Bond doesn't appreciate it. If you can't follow this, maybe stop watching movies.)
I'm
Quantum of Solace
Spectre
Skyfall
Casino Royale
So I'm even more nuts...
Switch SP and CR and we have the same list, only there's a massive division between CR/QoS and SF/SP for me, night and day differences.
What is it about CR that you don't prefer? Is it simply that you love the other Craig installments much more, or do you not care for CR whatsoever?

This^^.
They were discussing the religion part @barryt007 , not the dating married women part...
CR
SP
SF
A head cold
The flu
QOS
1) Casino
2) Spectre
3) Quantum
4) Skyfall
LOL.
Bond 25 is Meet the Lynds.
They're out for revenge, against Bond or "the organization" or Quantum or Spectre or Eon (for denying them a grandchild in QoS). Which would, strangely, be more believable than the plot of SP.
CR
(...)
SF
SP
Light years of difference between the first two and those last two.
I do LOVE the SPECTRE soundtrack. Very much. Particularly the Madeleine piano cues and the Turkish flutes. I know John Barry and David Arnold are the masters of the Bond music, but Newman does create the melancholy mood here.
And... I also love Serra's GoldenEye soundtrack, of course.
That is a pretty good track. I love the GE score too.
Same order for me, but the top three spaced out a bit.
QOS
SF
SP
For me
CR
QOS (though it's a lot closer than it was!)
SP
SF.
Oh I like Casino, it's mostly a case of just preferring the others. I suppose though that I agree with the rare critics of the film that there isn't much Bondian about it whether we're talking the other films or Fleming's books. I also find most of what follows the torture sequence to be of significantly less quality than the first two thirds or so.
But it's right in the middle of my rankings.
QOS (#4)
SF (#9)
SP (#23)
QOS 9/10
SF 8/10
SP 4.5/10
Switch QOS and SF and you are spot on!
Can't blame ya.
I guess it's a controversial stance.
Well he wound have to atleast be the real Oberhauser as Bond recognizes him as such.
I don't do Bond actor rankings. Don't have a favourite. Don't have a least favourite. They each offer something worthwhile.
That's how I view James Bond in general. Even the low points have their great points and I can enjoy the books, movies, comic books and video games as what they are: cheap entertainment that I enjoy talking about. That's my controversial opinion.
I almost entirely agree. Whenever people ask me who my favorite Bond is, I don’t have an answer. That’s because they all could be (except Lazenby). I could make an argument for each one of them being the best. So I just prefer not to rank them.
