Or "He had to split."
My questiom: James Bond Junior, how and why?
The cartoon.
Original LP:
Expanded soundtrack:
Which one is right? I'm not sure.
Here's the clip for comparison! Isn't the last one correct? I'm listening on some less than decent earphones, so I might be wrong. Many turntables have pitch control, which might give changes to the sound if not tuned correctly.
Yes, I think you're right. I'd actually checked against the film audio and suspected the same. I also tried playing the musical notes of several tracks on a MIDI keyboard to detect any pitch inconsistencies but couldn't quite tell which version (original or remastered) was correct. I've given it another try and it seems the remastered versions have the right pitch.
My question stemmed from the fact if you listen to Melina's Revenge from the expanded album, around the 1:30 mark you will hear the pitch go down slightly. That's obviously some mastering error. The LP has no such defect, which led me to consider the overall pitch of the album might be correct. (Assuming of course that that is in fact the pitch of the LP and that the turntable pitch control wasn't improperly set.)
But I presume the comparison with the film audio is conclusive...
Melina's Revenge (expanded album):
Melina's Revenge (LP):
You're right about the Melina's Revenge track! Will need to watch the film for comparison, but it sure is strange, no matter which one is right. I mean, why change the pitch?
I also remember a few James Bond "Choose your Own Adventure" books. Based on AVTAK. I found them to be quite entertaining. Course I was 15 at the time.
Thanks. They must have been pretty desperate.
And yes I remember those books as well.
EON never bothered giving Bond a date of birth during the original (1962-2002) series.
When Craig arrived, they created a date of birth for Bond (13 April 1968) that was included in his dossier on the Casino Royale website. In Spectre, they made a quick change to the age (not clear about the date) to make Bond 12 years old in 1983, which would make him roughly two years younger than what he should have been.
10th November 1948 (TLD)
10th November 1953 (GE/TND)
6th May 1960/61 (DAD)
13th April 1968 (CR)
2nd March 1968 (SF)
11th November 1972 (SP)
I guess James Bond is a codename.
Wrong! He is a Time Lord.
It was a funny joke.
@NeverSayNeverAgain Here’s a how to: https://www.mi6community.com/discussion/19049/how-to-post-photos-and-videos-to-mi6-instructional-video#latest
Yeah photobucket is awful. I abandoned them once they blocked image sharing behind a paywall.
Imgur is good as well.
Haven't used Imgur before, but often seen others recommend it.
Let's be honest here, my humour is just too complex for some to comprehend ;)
