Seeing those two reunited brought a smile to my face. This film will be terrible, no doubt, but I'll still watch it.

Brosnan: I think my balls are reaching the floor by now.
    Stephens: Time to face gravity.

I'm just now reading the first book of the Thursday Murder Club series and admit I have a hard time imagining Pierce as Ron Ritchie, no matter how good his Cockney accent may be. Several people (not just here) said they thought Ray Winstone would be a better choice, and I agree. And unfortunately, Bob Hoskins has been dead for ten years. At least I'd imagine someone who is more rough-and-tumble, dyed-in-the-wool proletarian than Pierce. (Another one that comes to my mind is Brendan Gleeson. Yes, I know he's Irish. But so is Pierce.) And yes, Helen Mirren and Ben Kingsley are the obvious choices for Elizabeth and "Ibbsy". Plus when I read about PC Donna De Freitas, I'm somehow thinking of Naomie Harris, though (my apologies) she's probably past the age for that role now.

When they first meet in the film, I hope they sneak in a "Have we met before?" reference.

Who would you cast as Joyce? Osman said they've got someone perfect for it I think.

Funny thing, I just checked The Thursday Murder Club on IMDb, and I see I was correct with one of my suggestions for the role of Joyce; Celia Imrie looks to be cast in the role!

The updates for this film just gets better and better. Brosnan and Stephens reunited? Fantastic!

The source material is good, so I am certainly hoping this will be a good one. I am however a bit puzzled by the fact that this is a movie production rather than your typical BBC or ITV mini series, like The Marlow Murder Club, which was recently made into a TV series featuring Samantha Bond.

It's going to be a stage production too, soon.

I'm not a theatre guy, but The Thursday Murder Club might have tempted me to make an exception.

Pierce as Sheffield boxing legend, Brendan Ingle, in the film that's currently being made about Brendan and his most famous champion, Naseem Hamed. The guy on the right's Johnny Nelson, Brendan's ex-Cruiserweight world champ, also from Sheffield. Don't worry about Brozza's hair, they've obviously remodelled it to resemble Brendan's, that's all!

Pierce at Wimbledon, looking like he could jump back in the role of (an older) Bond in a heartbeat!

It is a pretty amusing juxtaposition to see Spielberg and Richard Osman together: you wouldn’t have thought they were quite in the same realm of showbiz!

This confirms it: Brosnan to appear in Spielberg's next film.

I dreamed of the same upon seeing this. I saw Colin Firth is in talks to join; that could've been the role for Pierce!

Come on Steve-O, bring Pierce aboard along with Colin for that Mamma Mia reunion!

"Please don't make me sing again." - Pierce Brosnan

The only good thing about that horrid Cinderella flick he did (aside from his presence) was the cheeky nod to his singing "skills."

Not only that – The Thursday Murder Club is not a project you'd think Spielberg would take on in any capacity, either.

Pierce has made the (insane) Telegraph's list of the best-dressed people of summer.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/fashion/people/the-21-best-dressed-men-and-women-of-the-summer/#:~:text=From septuagenarian Jeff Goldblum's 'debonair,a certain charisma this summer.
As it's behind a paywall, here's what it says:

At 71, the Bond actor is having a style renaissance as a septuagenarian with serious panache. His appearance at Wimbledon during the summer was a masterclass in patrician suave; dressed as a guest of Ralph Lauren in an elegant navy blue double-breasted ensemble, it was the sweep of ashy hair and distinguished beard that made it his own. A masterclass in how men of a certain vintage should dress. Stephen Doig

I don't know what to make out of it, but it's Pierce, so obviously I can't help but enjoy it :))

The BMW is certainly a nice bonus!

It's some of the Pierciest Pierce too, with some classic chuckles to himself, one-hand-in-pocket clotheshorse posing, thoughtful middle-distance staring, wry squint, even a trademark Brosnan mouth wipe in there. He's rocking out almost all of his classic moves.

I guess the BMW being very similar to his TND one (same wheels even) can't be a coincidence!

I know, right? I couldn't help but smile throughout; he's really bringing the "Pierce A-game" to the screen here!

It looks very deliberate picking that BMW. An Aston Martin would probably have been too on the nose anyway, so the beemer is a nice little "Easter egg".

I can't stop watching it, it's like a compact little espresso quick hit of all of the Pierciest mannerisms and empty aphorisms that someone would usually have to watch a whole PB movie to absorb. It's maximum strength Brosnan in a compact cup. I doubt I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Also note the explanation under the full width version here:
    Pierce Is The Traveler

".... Pierce is also globally recognized for his penchant for wearing suits. For these reasons and more, he was the ideal choice to portray “The Traveler”."

He is very talented at wearing suits, you can't deny; they absolutely nailed it.

I see Ronnie Fieg, the Kith CEO/Knicks Creative Director who posted this one on Twitter calls it "Possibly my favorite piece of content we’ve produced to date." in another tweet. I don't doubt it!
