But even me, a person who can tell you he is as brilliant off screen as on ,and will promote and protect his image is sure he WONT be mentioned.
I hope so too, and I think there's a good chance of it happening. They don't really seem to like doing that, we've had some unforgiveable snubs (two that I can remember from my lifetime: Goldeneye should have been dedicated to Harry Saltzman, and Skyfall John Barry). But I think this will be different. Even ignoring what a genuinely lovely and brilliant person he was, he was Bond. Too important to not give a dedication imo. The two I mentioned were too, but Moore was the face of the brand for years and is still the definitive Bond to many. Don't think they could get away with not somehow paying tribute.
A little nod of some sort in the film would be nice too, but that I really can't see happening. Actually, if wanted to bring back an old car, they should have used Moore's Lotus instead of Dalton's V8. I know, pipe dream, branding and product placement and all that stuff means that Bond will always drive an Aston for the time being. But that would have been a nice tribute.

Really need to get myself those Saint box sets.
In celebration of Sir Roger's birthday I've been watching the first half of OP. Started watching the film a bit late, and I've been a bit tired all day, so I'm saving that last (and very entertaining) half for tomorrow.
There is a app on Roku that has all six seasons of The Saint for free, I am watching the episode with Shirley Eaton now, the episode starts when the characters meet in a Casino ;))
What app is that? Don't have Roku myself.

Roku stick or a Roku box, The Saint app appeared a few weeks ago. I looked on Google Play though not on there, it may be on Apple Store?
Don't think Roku is available over here, unfortunately. TV shows on Apple Store aren't (or wasn't the last time I checked). Might be worth getting a box set of the series though!
I have the Colour Series Box set on dvd picked it up for very cheap price. Just going to see if the app is in the Microsoft store
Thanks! Must have been years since I watched that episode. Can't remember where I watched it though; I don't think The Saint has been on TV here for a very long time. It was probably online.
There are a lot of random channels on Freeview in the UK that regularly play older shows likeThe Saint and The Avengers etc, often when I am working at night I stumble on them channel hopping. Can you not pick up any UK channels yourself? I have found apps that allow you to watch TV from allover the world, also there is the VPN option...
Never tried looking for apps that provides you with the opportunity to watch foreign channels. If any of those apps are available here it might be worth looking into. Thanks again!
No problem just look in the TV sections of which ever App stores you use, you may find something, every few months I do a thorough check of App stores just to see if there is anything new I can use.
