I was pretty excited for this one - big fan of Harbour and Ian McShane - but I got roughly 10-15 minutes in before turning it off.
Very cool! Not many Bond alumni on April 13th, other than Edward Fox and Bill Conti. I suppose you could count Bond himself in the '06 CR has an April 13th b-day, but that changes as the films progress.
I like to boast I have the same b-day as Tony Dow, a,k.a. Wally from LEAVE IT TO BEAVER.
Yes, I too was very excited about it and bought it blind. I watched the whole thing, but gave it away right after.
I first saw her in the François Truffaut’s version of “Fahrenheit 451” (1966) since it was on television quite a lot back in the early 1970s. And I’m sure I was not the only young boy who fell under her spell.
And from there....so many great roles, although she was (is) very selective.
