Man On The Moon, being one of my favourites.
Though One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, is a better film.

Mmmm.... the movie didn't really measure up to the stage production... the changes made to the script really didn't sit well with me... but a movie about the '60s made in the late '70s? Totally took everything out of context. Plus they left out one of my favorite songs, "Frank Mills." I suppose it's better than not having anything for the youngsters to see, but I guess you had to have been there to really get it. (Old fart shutting up now...)

HAIR is still what I'll remember Milos Forman for. I'm just as familiar with the stage version as the sound and vision of the film. Watched it in theaters in 1979, 6 years later I was in the Army under very different circumstances.

I'm not wanting to downgrade anyone else's experience with the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of HAIR -- it's just that the stage version was a very special experience for me. The movie, somewhat less so. But hey -- let your freak flag fly!
