I just learned that famed horror director Stuart Gordon passed away over a week ago (March 24) aged 72. Famous for several of his Lovecraft adaptations, including Re-Animator, Gordon loved the horror genre and will be greatly missed by his fans. RIP, Stuart.

Mort Drucker has died. For those too young to remember, Mr. Drucker used to draw the movie/TV show parodies for MAD magazine. His take-offs on Bond were always dead-on.

I saw that last night, I'm only familiar with his work in that film. Must've been a private affair since he passed back in February. Loved his creepy mad doctor take in that film, though. RIP, Mr. Laser.
