My sincere condolences as well. I lost my dear maternal grandmother - the only grandparent I ever knew (my paternal grandparents had died before I was born, my maternal grandfather two days after my birth) - when I was 13, which was 54 years ago. We loved each other, but I cannot say that she formed my life beyond childhood. I can only imagine how difficult it is to lose someone (except one's parents, who I hope still exist for you - mine don't) who played such a central role even in your adult life.

@GoldenGun So sorry to hear about your grandma mate. My own nan passed away in 2022 at the grand age of 91 and although I have many fond memories of her (she was a second mother to me as there was no father figure in the picture) I didn't keep in contact with her as much as I should have in adult life. There are a great many things I would ask her today, and it shocked me to learn at her funeral readings and slideshow that I really didn't know much about her at all. Two years on, I still think about what I'm gonna get her for her birthday, just to have reality hit home. It's difficult for the mind to accept. I'm glad you got to talk with her about her life, hold on to those memories mate.

That legend can now enjoy as many succulent Chinese meals in the afterlife as he wants.

I hope he can finally get that succulent Chinese meal finished now with no interruptions. Jack Karlson's arrest is what the internet was invented for.

RIP Chi Chi Rodriguez - fond memories of watching him at a golf tournament that was played annually across the street from my elementary school. A pioneer in making golf more mainstream entertainment.
